In my eyes after this game of Barca, Real put the final nail in the coffin. The "Barca-ages" are gone.
Everything startet last year when Real began to play brutaly hard against them (I would call it violent) and took away the myth (that ervery opponent was scared to have or not to have the ball). That pioneered Chealsea to win in the Semis. Since this season there is no Myth anymore in Barcas game (I don't feel that myth anymore) and that says me that they became a "normal" - still strong team. But nothing to fear anymore. Every age end's and gives space for a new one and something in the air gives me the feeling that Bayern is starting a new one ... to start in Germany an to dominate whole Europe. Imagen if we could win the CL cup this year and to be the first ever to defend it next year. Nobody would talk about the lost finals anymore. I know it's a long long way but in my oppinion we have to have ambitious aims for the future and that would be ultimate one...

That's because their domestic opponents are still of the idea that they're unbeatable. This has changed since the start of the new year. They are still winning, but facing much more difficulties in doing so than before.

I wouldn't rule them out long term just yet. The core team and philosophy is still there; setbacks for a team that ruled the scenery for the past 4 years was only to be expected. They need to get their helmsman back or find a long term replacement if needed. Heard Bielsa might be available soon...

Bayern v Madrid, for me, is the ultimate European game. Mostly because I grew up on the mammoth fixtures on the early 00s between the two.

Yes
I became a fan during late 90s- early 00s

The luck of the draw nearly always brings us vs Madrid
And i cannot complain

Bayern vs madrid is always great , and the Semifinals last season were amazing football from both teams

Yeah; I remember (last year) that I was suffering from a high anxiety, my heart was beating x2 faster then normal, I had high pressure etc... for both legs. Incredible enough I had no such for the final...

So just read now that Real Madrid have requested Camp Nou to be chosen as the venue for Copa del Ray final(Source-AS). Pretty cunning of them. :|

Last year when Bernabeu was to host as neutral venue they refused specifying renovation work though there were other underlying reasons. [source]

So final was held at Vicente Calderon.

They [Barça] already said no; BS argument being the pitch situation and their game in less than 48 hours' time. A more credible argument would have been 'f*ck off, and play somewhere closer to both team's fans for crying out loud.'

So, Real Madrid with a second consecutive win over Barca while basically playing Real B for most of the game. Barca couldn't quite get anything going on the offensive end, except for the goal of course. Tiki Taka is dead.

Tiki taka dead? Well, we will be able to determine that in about years time. I think the team is missing their coach Vilanova. Roura, poor guy, has no idea what to do with them and the players were left by their coach in the most important stage of the season. They will probably lose everything but the league.
