I know, I just want to point that even though Barça wins 90% of the games there are still very good teams like Atletico, Valencia, Malaga and obviously Real Madrid

League play and CL are incomparable tournaments. Playing a domestic opponent is completely different that playing a European opponent. I'll say that La Liga is the most amazing league when Valencia can actually produce a class performance against a fit Real Madrid (and fit I say to not bring up their draw earlier this season).

EDIT: That's not saying that La Liga is a poor league. It's just way less competitive than the BL and EPL.

Game is boringly slowing down. Real doesn't want to exert more energy, while Valencia are trying to come out with the least embarrassing result. I see it ending at 5-1.

Well, Valencia have a chance to make it right on Wednesday. They just need a 3-0 win.

First half season Valencia was dangerous by parking the bus and countering. That is how they started Madrid's own low run and almost had a similar result vs Barza (1-1 and 0-1 respectively.) Later games were a complete contrast; they have already conceded 4-0's and 5-2's vs other teams (Málaga & Real Sociedad); something unheard of during the first matches.

Well it's more or less the opposite

After Pellegrino was sacked the team started to play a more defensive football and now they were in a very good run... until the played this 2 games against Madrid

Well, Valdes is kinda the best goalkeeper for Barca. Definitely, not the best in the world though.
Different set of skills. Barca goalkeepers barely see the ball, they need to have top concentration and passing skills.
He was definitely the best goalkeeper Barca had since Zubizarreta.

As for Real Madrid, I don't think even their fans over at Real Madrid forum believe they will do anything this season eventhough these Valencia games were surprisingly good.
But who knows. If Chelsea won the CL last season then anything can happen really.

Jupp won CL and came third in league in '98 but still got fired because of his league performances.
As for Mourinho, I think he's time has come and should be sacked in summer.
10th CL for RM? They've got to clear ManU though now and better hope they don't meet us again. Otherwise that dream would be shattered again.

Trust me, he's the one getting himself sacked on purpose.

What the hell is going on in that Real game? Real go a goal up, all is standard procedure, then Casillas gets injured by Arbeloa, Coentrao sent off and Valencia score back?

I just tuned in; but looks like having a single pivot last time around, plus a lousy Costa as full back, was one of the main reasons for the 0-5. Pereira is doing, on paper, a better job holding off CR7.
