As bad as Real Madrid are. Barcelona and their love affair with referees is on a different planet. If there is one team who the refs favor even more than Real then it is Uefalona.

Barcelona had a golden generation and when Messi goes I can easily see them revert back to their pre 2000's mediocrity (at least in the CL). Their future superstar has left them for money and their midfielders are just not good enough and nowhere near Xavi/Iniesta level. They tried to tap up Veratti but PSG burned them for that. Good! I'm gonna enjoy every second of Uefalona's demise. Serves their pathetic glory hunting fan base right.

You can present all the figures, statistics, diagrams, pie charts and graphs you want but the writing is there on the wall. End of Barcelona's domination is upon us. And if someone wants to accept it or not, football works in cycles.. That is why I respect teams like Bayern, Juventus and Madrid so much. They have been consistent for decades and have always been close to the title and have remained constants in football.

Boy, you must've completely missed all the games in the late 80s and almost all of the 90s too, then again everything 2002-2009...

Rivalry aside. You have to go back to 1996 when Real finished outside the top five in La Liga. And they haven't had a midtable finish since the seventies. As for Juventus, they are the most consistent team in Serie A. There is a reason why they have supplied the most players to the Italian national side and also to various other national teams. (Platini, Zidane, etc.)

Atletico being trashed by newly promoted Girona. Not a single goal chance.

Barça playing 4-2-3-1. They're 2-0 up already.

And they will pay the release clause of Seri, midfielder from OGG Nice. 40M.

So it looks like no Coutinho, 40M for Seri and up to 150M for Dembele.

TBH it has been quite some time since I saw him play last. What's up with him?
Maybe he stopped improving or something?

Injuries, lifestyle... he's become a mediocre player. The Spanish Marko Marin

LOL

L'equipe is reporting that Seri's release clause expired in July, so Nice is now demanding more money

From what I've seen of Seri in the CL qualifies so far he looks average. No where near good enough for a top European club. He was poor against Napoli last week and his only notable contribution has been that away goal assist against Ajax. Hopefully Uefalona buys him for €50m and continues to get mugged with mediocre signings!

Meanwhile, Real Madrid continue their impressive ruthless streak. 3-0 away win and an almost perfect game apart from Ramos getting sent off at the end. Kudos to Deportivo for trying their best but Real was just too good for them. That Madrid midfield of Modric, Kroos, Isco and Casemiro is just scary! They have possibly the best fullbacks in Europe and Nacho is a pretty damn good CB too! Possibly the most complete team in the World.

The thing that worries me the most is how well Real could play the ball out of the back despite Deportivo's high press. They did the same against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup. Whereas Bayern have looked error prone when trying to play out of the back against Leverkusen, Liverpool and Dortmund.

One last thing, Keylor Navas is perhaps the best goalkeeper in the world right now (with all due respect to someone from Gelsenkirchen who was recently married) . He has been outstanding for Real Madrid and I don't think they need De gea anymore.

Was not aware that G.Defeleux is back with Barca.

With apologies for destroying his surname
