Now it was the crier who missed a couple of chances.

It was Jonas, not Tello

Real were really lucky with the referee. This was like Ovrebo but with offsides instead penalties

And Özil with an awesome solo =P~ =P~ =P~ =P~ shame he didn't score, it could have been goal of the month

10-man Malaga secure a 2-2 draw against Barca at the Camp Nou. Everything is yet wide open for the 2nd leg.

Spanish Cup is sh!t. Spanish football is sh!t in terms of organization. I hate it

Supercup is played in 2 legs

The Cup is played in 2 legs

Sometimes there is more than one month between the first and the second leg in the Cup.

Madrid and Barça have privileges that other teams from La Liga don't have (more days to rest between 2 games, they never play on mondays, they get full attention from the media, they get way too much money from TV rights...)

Some games in August are played at 11:00 pm

It's a disaster #-o

So, Valdez wants to leave after his contract at Barca expires.

Be alert, second division clubs.

He had been pretty bad but I think he still belongs to the Primera. On the other hand, I had been hearing rumors that Ter Stegen is the one who is set to replace Valdes

Ter Stegen is a lot more capable than Valdez. He'd be an excellent choice for Barca.

Victor Valdes has his silly mistakes from time to time, but he has been a great goalkeeper and he was world class in every CL title Barça won. I remember some great performances in big games like CL finals against ManU and Arsenal or the CL semifinal against Chelsea

He is the GK with the fewest goals conceded every year in La Liga too

I also think Ter Stegen could be an ideal replacement for him, but Valdes is much better at the moment. Andre will need to keep improving to reach Valdes level

Put a puppy in his place, and it'll still be the GK with the fewest goals conceded in La Liga.

Valdes is like an extra CB in Barça's tactics. Just like Neuer with us, so not only his saves are important

Exactly. People are very unfair on Valdes.
