As I understand it (from a Spanish lawyer friend) most countries nowadays have a 'first offence pardoned' 'back-door' but it is NOT a law (taken from "always" on your sentence.) It is up to the judge to proceed at his discretion AND he has to have been briefed before as to the budgetary and logistical status of the prison system. It is more economical to give a first offender a free out of jail card than to keep overcrowding cels and paying for boarding for three years. Or so.

You guys dont get Spanish football..

These barca guys are getting into all this trouble because of Spanish politics, etc. Hence why you never see Real players getting into the same tax problems.

These statistics are silly though? Why 32 games? Probably that means that up till 31 games some of the others were better. And it could also mean that by 33 he isn't the best anymore...

Well, I guess that Zidane has been in charge of Real Madrid for just 32 league games.

That stat is not quite right though, because I doubt that Pellegrini or Luis Enrique had those points after 32 league games with Villarreal or Celta.

Wondering how many points the legendary Jupp got in his first 32 La Liga games for RM? 56 points. Ranked 11th among RM managers. Del Bosque is 10th with 58 points.

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/footba ... tgalleries

Interesting to see a rising trend of points with almost every successor... Some didn't make it for 32 games though.

IMO these stats speak about the 'competitiveness' of La La Liga in years more than anything else.
