A third of Usa isn't German.

And evem so if they have small traces of being an ethnic german, most of them do not relate back to their motherland

Of course you would know better what with me being a history teacher and all...
Look it up... You'd be surprised...
And they don't really have to relate... But I would much rather want to see a team from my ancestor's home country than some run-of-the-mill English club...

I live in USA... Most of these ethnic Germans are mixed, like 1/8 german ethnicity.

Think about it, even looking at international destinations, Germany doesn't even rank in top 20 in international travel regarding cities. Because they have a small percentage of German blood doesnt mean they will care for a German team.

On the article, a poster actually made a very good comment.

An example of US soccer TV audiences on a typical weekend.
TOP 25 MOST-VIEWED LIVE SOCCER GAMES ON TV Oct 2-4, 2015.
It does not include La Liga (Esp) broadcasts in Spanish.
1 Chelsea vs. Southampton 948,000 (broadcast over-the-air)
2 Arsenal vs. Manchester United 866,000
3 Everton vs. Liverpool 436,000
4 Manchester City vs. Newcastle 396,000
5 Monterrey vs. Leon 352,000
6 America vs. Chiapas FC 275,000
7 Pumas vs. Guadalajara 272,000
8 Crystal Palace vs. WBA 218,000
9 Seattle vs. LA Galaxy 194,000
10 Sunderland vs. West Ham 188,000
11 Querétaro vs. Club Tijuana 185,000
12 Atletico Madrid vs. Real Madrid 168,000
13 Puebla vs. Monarcas 152,000
14 Sevilla vs. Barcelona 115,000
15 Bayern Munich vs. Dortmund 106,000
16 Colorado vs. Real Salt Lake 104,000
17 FC Dallas vs. Houston Dynamo 85,000
18 Schalke vs. Cologne 58,000

24 Chievo vs. Verona 10,000
25 Rotherham vs. Burnley 9,000 beIN SPORTS 2:45-4:45pm Fri., Oct 2.

Look at the huge disparity in Munich/Dortmund vs chelsea/Southampton games.... It's one thing if your playing on BEIN sports, because most people do not have that channel, but Fox Sports, is basic cable as is NBC sports...

Well Zwölf, German ancestry in the US is mostly centuries away and Americans are not very prone to identifying with their non-american roots (With some exceptions)(second generation Hispanics, for example, don't feel Latin-American, they feel American, regardless of race). Nevertheless, the English link is and always was closer. In their very declaration of independence, which they read till indoctrination, refers to Britain as US cousin's. To them, independence was a brotherly dispute more than anything else.

If there was a good American player for Bayern a lot would change... BuLi might gain or say BVB with Pulisic(only 17 y.o.) if he turns good... we could always go for him if he proves himself. :P He had a solid debut, already on the radar of some big clubs.

Liverpool face competition from Real Madrid and Manchester City in pursuit of Borussia Dortmund whizzkid Christian Pulisic [source]

Croatian descent though.

Copa del Rey...
Barca boo the Nat anthem of Spain as it should be:twisted:
And the cameras only focus on the sevilla fans...
No Catalan flag was in view during the anthem...

My support? Seville

He's really a great GK. He permanently benched Beto who was their no.1 GK. He also got included on the Spain team for the Euros. He should be competing for the no. 1 spot but since Del Bosque called up Casillas he's an automatic no. 1 for sure.
