They're still top of the table though thanks to their superior H2H vs Atléti and Real.

Reminds me of Bayern 2013/14 after the CL win at the end of the season.

Bayern already won the league at that time.

And Barca was 10 points clear at one point.
Bayern already won the league in 2012/13 at that time aswell. Didn't stop them from playing awesome.
There's a couple % missing and that hurts.

The thing is there's a strong possibility Barça don't win anything this year.

Damn, they just seem unable to pick themselves up. A very weird meltdown indeed. That's why it is always a good idea to keep one foot on the ground. It was all lost before for Real and Atletico. Now it is game back on. Any Barca slip up can put them even in 3rd place. Maybe that can play well for us as both Madrid teams will again start focusing on the La Liga title race now.

Well done Valencia. Atletico might cry because of their Sporting 2-1 defeat after 0-1 lead.

What a shameful coach Luis Enrique is haha. They won the treble last year with their previous coach and now they are sh!t
They should sack him and bring that awesome coach back again.

:coffee:

It's funny that the same thing happened with Real, Barcelona and Bayern in the recent years. They won double/trebles and had similar disappointing seasons the year after that.

And this proves my theory that even with Heynckes and his Super Bayern it would've been almost impossible to repeat a similar success after the treble. The players are not as hungry for trophies anymore and other teams figure out how to play against you

I'm happy that we are still a Top 4 team in Europe winning titles every year and with realistic chances of winning the treble this season.

Makes me think that Pep's Barcelona is still the most dominant team I've ever seen.

Since Cruyff death Barca's form dropped dramatically

Well, Barca won CL four times within the last 8 years or so, and the treble three times in 6 years, didn't they?
No one says you have to win the treble every year... It's unbelieveably hard to do... Winning a treble alone is no piece of cake... But it sounds like another reason why someone failed miserably in the semis two times in a row... And stuff like this makes me think Pep supporters will always find excuses... ;)
Someone, fire that Italian **** already! I don't care who, I don't care how much it costs or who'll be the next coach - just make sure he's gone and he stays gone!!!
