I kinda wanted to mock Kroos, but he actually had a pretty decent game if the stats are to be believed. Fitting 3 key passes and 14 accurate long balls into a 95% passing accuracy is no easy thing to do.

With passes to Casillas and to the people next to him, not hard to reach, like he did in the 2nd half season of last year...

Simeone from VIP seats can knock down Real Madrid. 8) He is genious. What he did 2 years ago in Copa del Rey final against Mourinho's Real and then in the last season... After 14-15 years situation in Madrid has finally changed. Atletico can win at both Calderon and Bernabeu and they were so close to do it in the CL final.

They needed that depth last season and they're able to fix it this season without even breaking the bank. Bayern will be punished in corners if we ever meet them. They have such a high success rate in aerial duels.

The low standard I have for La Liga refs are even set lower. Mandzu yellow carded for helping Kroos up his feet.

So let me get this straight. Kroos leaves while he give us Madrid's most precious (read healthy) anchorman and a load of cash and now he's part of a sinking ship while at the same time you can pretty much argue about the only good player in that team is a Bayern product of sorts.

I'm actually starting to enjoy this. Seriously.

It's a bit early to label them a sinking ship, for the only reason they have a very experienced coach, he will fix things in the second part of the season, unless they really hit a crisis and he will not make it by then  They have an easy CL group though, I would like to see them in a group of death, just like us for as long as I can remember.
I am sure Ancelotti was not in favour of some transfers, but their 'playstation like' squad philosophy is decided at upper level, that must be it.

Ancelotti did take time to settle his team last season too. It took Alonso's comeback from injury to stabilize the squad. He's been tweaking their squad for sure. Ronaldo was on the right while Bale has been in the center. For all the rumors Ancelotti doesn't like James, he sure does give him 90 minutes for most of the games so far.

I want to see Mandzu and Cerci partnership. Cerci helped Immobile in Torino get top scorer and has most assists. Atletico has the most balanced team compared to Barca and RM. Might not be "stars" but certainly at the top level for every position.

Just to add, Atletico has a heart together with passion for football. Those things give them an extra boost unlike Barcelona and especially - Real Madrid.

Todays big scoring team have seen their debts rising up to over 600million:-o
1/2 of which has to be payed in the short term. FP has a big big big problem convince the other members and the hard core ultras who are preparing massive protests. However the spanish virgins might sell their soul to emirates by re branding the stadium's name as to fly emirates bernabeu:lol:
