he'll do great things for atletico. Our other ex striker failed to touch a single ball though ... - Gomez

Kroos corner kick to Ramos for first goal. Modric to Bale who nutmegs his opponent for a direct shot on goal. Kroos shot was saved. After than Sociedad keeps attacking with crosses. Both came from headers. There might have been a non-call for penalty against Carvajal who rode a player's back and pretended he was hurt instead.

I try to remember if Kroos is this relax in Bayern. He seems to be just walking sometimes.

BTW, Cerci is going to Atleti. The reason Immobile is the top scorer in Serie A. Mandzu is going to enjoy his time in Spain.

Notice how Kroos was marking Vela on that 4th goal and then lost him.

Real without Ronaldo and Barcelona without Messi, look like expensive toys without batteries. Letting Di Maria (which in my opinion was key to their 4 3 3 system and CL success) and Alonso go, looks very strange now. Very shaky defensively and smth is missing in the way they attack. They changed a winning formula somehow. I still don't get how Rodriguez will fit in their system. All in all their defence is weak and they have only one CDM left. Kroos as CDM simply doesn't work. Early to judge, but not impressed so far.

So, when can we expect a Kroos +30m deal for Alonso?

Ironically enough I had this discussion with a Real Madrid fan a few days ago. He was convinced that Kroos can easily replicate Alonso, although I kept telling him that expecting Kroos to put in a good defensive shift is unrealistic. He was also convinced that Rodriguez would more than make up for di Maria, whilst I am amazed that he commanded such a high price (Real Madrid basically shelled out around 13 million per world cup goal for James). It's going to take time for them to adjust, and they face Atletico next.

I wouldn't take Kroos back even if he cried and asked for forgiveness on TV... Plus, our new signing already grew on me 8) .

Now, on topic, Madrid is going to be really dangerous from set-pieces with Kroos kicking them and guys like Ramos heading them.

I'm thinking why no one stops Ramos before he gets a chance to score again from high speed, power in corners. Stop his run or something.

I'm not even that surprised about the result considering the lineup. It's only shocking because they were two up.
