Spanish football

The player who scored is Munir Al Haddadi, an attacker, a Barca youth product and their next big thing it seems. A lot of fuss about this kid, similar to our case with Gaudino.

"What punch? Godin's face just landed directly to Ronaldo's fists man." Suarez as Ronaldo's legal counsel.

Kroos must be enjoying his vacation. Walking on the pitch, making passes here and there, tackling once in a while. :coffee:

Is anyone on that team worth their transfer tag? Bale anyone?

Ok fine, he scored a lousy CL defining goal. Modric anyone?

Ok fine, he did something once. Coentrao anyone? The list is endless.

Imo, none is worth that money either. 96 million for a player? That's a slap in the face to every hard working person on this earth, the way they throw with money, especially in a country like Spain...

He got that price because of his World Cup performances and THAT goal against Uruguay, pure and simple (and because Real Madrid, instead of a team with a budget, bought him). If players' value was dictated solely by World Cup performances, Mueller and Neuer would currently be the two most valuable players on Earth, and Klose would be worth less only because of his age.

It must be utter hell being Real Madrid's accountant, were it not for the obscene wage they probably pay them too :(

January: Carlo Ancelotti: "No one is leaving and no one is coming in"

Afterwards: James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos displace Angel di Maria and Xabi Alonso, the two guys that basically won the Champions League for Real Madrid.

It feels to me like this move is to placate or keep room for Khedira. Are Real also hoping that James can cover the wings if Ronaldo or Bale is hurt? Picking up Kroos was a good move on Real Madrid's part, but the rest of Real Madrid's transfer moves leave me scratching my head.

Yes but Monaco just bought him and are in no rush to sell. Perez most likely don't like negotiating and is the type to throw money at the problem.

Money they won't have if they actually paid their debts. No matter how many shirts they sell, that won't pay for their debt, impending new stadium, and Galactico signing every window, and high wages for their players.
