That's the only thing I was wondering.

Other than that I think his game will be a good fit for Barca, so kind of a logical move from both parties.

Now seriously... Great Spanish FA who makes things possible to Real and Barcelona. Duopoly? No wonder..

I think he was consulted before the transfer. So, that's out of question.

Why do you think Messi will be in the wings? It's Neymar and Suarez on the wings. Last season in Liverpool, Suarez is in the wings cutting back to the center. I think this shows Barca is going to utilize Messi ala Argentina. No Xavi, no Fabregas? Iniesta and Busquets left for midfield. Who's going to do the assists then?

I hope Pedro moves too. He's the only Barca player I like for some reason.

A lot of rumors that Suarez will be a Barca player by the weekend. Who needs defenders when you can just buy more forwards :P

Don't you just love how Barca and Madrid do business? Go for all the attacking players and neglect the defence, what could go wrong, right? Their defenders will have their work cut out for them next season. This will work against the Levante's of this world, but when they come up against an organised defence, what then?

Baffling that they are spending so much money on yet another attacking player when it's blatantly obvious their defence needs sorting out.

Well their defense doesn't quite look so sh*t when they pack everyone in the box except Ronaldo and Bale. Punt the ball out, let them run. Absolute genius their coach. All their forwards need to do is sprint training and lift in the gym so they look good for the cameras. :coffee:

Barca I have no idea what they are doing. At least they didn't waste money on David Luiz I guess, which was the "defensive" spending I expected.

Are they planning to change the revenue rules anytime soon? I like that European football rewards winners, but I am still in amazement that against the odds Atletico fought this oppressive system.

I understand why they buy Neymar. He has probably payed off the amount they bought him with all the ad revenues he brings in, seriously this guy has so many commercials. But Suarez? From a football aspect he might bring success (might is the word because has he ever brought a silverware to his team) but they'll have to wait until November to use him at that point the title might be long gone from them lol

The amount of negative attention it brings to the club should make any reasonable person step back.
