Do you think that don del bosque will call it a day? I am already seeing Emery on the bench...

I never really liked him anyway. He probably will leave.

Del Bosque should return all the trophies he won with the Spanish NT. Best manager of the year? He just copy pasted Barca. And when that failed, he got nothing. :|

Exactly. I think it is no coincidence that this disaster coincided with the first international tournament after Guardiola left Barca, and one of Barca's worst seasons in the 2000s.

Fully expecting him to. The press in Spain are going to rip them apart for this and he and some of the old guard need to go.

The game vs Australia will be Xabi Alonso's last game for the Spanish NT.

One of the few I respect on that team (ok Javi is really the only one I like there). Xabi is a great footballer though whenever he retires from Real I can dislike them 100% :-$

Wasn't that the plan all along? For him to move somewhere else first for 1 year then move to RM. Great for them, he didn't shine in Monaco and missed the WC, they can buy him at a lower price.

Could be easily... After all, media wrote about this story even when Falcao didn't move to Monaco.

I was always under the impression that this would happen. Not sure whether they'd splash so much cash on a player who has been out for half a year though.

Suarez is the current flashy player, they are going to try and get him first before bidding for any other strikers.
