He had a great season and is a great player, but I don't think he has the quality to bring back Barca to the top.

They have to start from somewhere, we will see if he can replicate his last season. He still looks like a class player, also adds some much needed pace to their midfield that they were lacking.

I thought Real will take him. Modrić - Rakitić in the midfield can be deadly. (As we will maybe see in WC :D )

Rumour has it that Abramovich is set to buy Real Mallorca.

Surprisingly, the Daily Mail came up with a good point:
The talk in Spain was that Roman Abramovich is on the brink of buying Real Mallorca.

Now duel ownership is not unknown in European football.

But it is fraught with difficulty especially if the clubs end up competing against each other in the Champions League.

If that is the case and he takes on Mallorca then he would have to ditch one or the other.

Could it be that Roman has grown tired of Chelsea and or UEFA financial fair play regulations?

Or even Jose Mourinho’s requests?

Or will one of his yachts sit better in Mallorca than London?

Chelsea suddenly seem to have become a selling club given the sale of David Luiz and possibly Eden Hazard.

Why is that?

Is it because Roman can’t compete with the Manchester City owners that he wants to take on Real Madrid and Barcelona?

Is this the end of Chelsea’s Roman empire ?

I have a question ...are Barca B eligible to play in la liga?

I don't think they'll be back on the top, at least not on top where they were almost 10 years.

Some names who are linked these days with Barcelona are telling me something that Enrique won't encourage Guardiola's football, neither. I smell something more like Jupp Heynckes 2012-2013 or Jürgen Klopp's and Brandan Rodgers way of football, not tiki-taka.

Everybody knows that tiki-taka died in April 2013 besides our coach...

According to football-espana.net, Santi Cazorla annouced his desire to leave Arsenal and join to Atletico Madrid.

Did Atletico purchased Diego or was it just a loan? Cazorla isn't young. An AM is not their problem. Villa is gone, Costa would most likely too and their GK. They don't have the money for luxury buys unless they do another Falcao-financing-like deal.

Diego's contract is already expired. It was a 1 year deal from a free transfer.
