Wow so he has played his last match for Barcelona and possibly for Spain too.

ACL tear. Will be out for the rest of the season as well as the World Cup.

Who do you think will go to Brazil instead of Valdes? I think Casillas, Lopez, and De Gea.

+1 Maybe Reina from Napoli could once again be a part of Spanish team.

No way. Fiorentino Perez loves Ancelotti and will definitely give him more time.

Im wondering about Martino - he has great stats in the big games.

Atletico 1-1 Barca
Barca 0-0 Atletico
Barca 2-1 Real
Atletico 0-0 Barca
City 0-2 Barca
Barca 2-1 City
Real 3-4 Barca

And if you count Milan in:

Milan 1-1 Barca
Barca 3-1 Milan

Not even one defeat! People say Barcelona is not the same since Guardiola left and they are weak. But they are still able of pulling magical performances. With in-form Messi they are able of winning against anybody.

Interesting that neither Atletico or Barcelona have defeated each other yet this season... makes the CL matchup even more interesting.

Barca has won against them in the Spanish Supercup. 1-0 with Neymar's goal. I think there were 2 legs and the 2nd game ended 0-0. Always been a tough game between those two. Atletico with such organized defense and Valdes' injury just increased Atletico's chances for me.

Actually they finished 0:0 at the Camp Nou and 1:1 in Madrid. Barca won on away goals. In the three games so far between those two all of them have finished in a draw.

But I agree with Borusse, Barcelona have been very good this year contrary to what most people say. They are still capable of putting out good results against the top teams. Madrid on the other hand have been awful against top teams this year. Can't see them sacking Ancelotti though, even if they finish without a trophy. It's pretty much downhill from here for them. Who else are they going to get if they sack him?

Barcelona's having a luck these days. First Real Madrid, last night Espanyol.

Atletico looked great against Athletic, but the Basks really made a few dangerous chances to score.

Costa is the king! I can' believe what he is capable to do... Every single match he is almost 90 minutes on the field, does the same thing as Mandžukić does at Bayern, but he scores so great, creates own chances to score, runs a lot and so fast that opponents barely can handle with him, dribbling skills are also fantastic, his aerial quality is excellent.

After this I can only think why haven't we signed this guy who is both Mandžukić and Lewandowski all in one and still with some extra pluses. =D>

He's a great player but I don't like him. He's an aggressive player and more often for the wrong reasons. He can give those dirty challenges and yet when he gets them he whines as good as Ronaldo. As I have expressed many times, I don't like fishermen of fouls. And like Ronaldo, against top teams --so far with RM and Barca, he lets his head get the better of him and lose focus and his cool.

Against Basque, Atletico was good counter attacking. Bilbao had great chances and Courtois with a couple of good saves. I don't know how they'll be able to buy him in the future. I think AM is still on the verge of bankruptcy. As usual, La Liga refs are dumb as f*ck.

Yeah, they played counter attacks. However, not all men behind the ball through all 90 minutes unlike the games against Barcelona and Real where Atletico players including Villa and Costa were behind the ball 40 meters of their goal.

Atletico were a bit more open last night, their tempo looked from my point of view a bit faster and pressing was effective.

Still, Basks looked very dangerous - didn't create a lot of chances, but when you take a look, the first real chance on the match was goal, and the next 3-4 situations were almost every 100% must score. There came in Atletico's Courtois and justified his title of the current 2nd best GK after Neuer.

At the end of the match, the main ref. made an unexplaining decision to stop the action for certain 3rd goal of the Rojiblancos. It could have easily cost Atletico of 3 points. [-X

Is that a ruling for U18 transfers only or it's a ban on complete transfer activities of Barca?

Gooood, very good... It was about time. Now it's time to find something wrong in Real Madrid. :|
