That third goal. He just run past the defense. This is why Valdes wants to leave Barca, he gets the blame for shit defending.

That Anoeta curse won't stop haunting Barca. They haven't won there since 2007.

It's a very interesting match though, Sociedad are doing a great job so far.

Really interesting weekend. Barca lost against Sociedad. Now we have to see Atletico getting back on the right track. :)

Madrid liga derby next week. The result has more impact than any game against any team below top 3.

They are done with La Liga title ambitions. They missed their best chance ahead of Madrid derby to stay in touch with the 1st place especially after Barcelona lost away match on Saturday at San Sebastian.

Too bad, looks like Real and Barcelona will for the umpteenth time only stay in the true race.

Thin bench is the biggest problem for Simeone and he'll have to think about solving this next summer, but if Costa leaves Atletico... It won't help him that much. :?

It is far from over. There is a long way to go. But I agree that this makes it much harder for Atletico.

Atletico were never going to win the league, come on. They don't have the depth to compete with Madrid/Barca. They were looking completely knackered after their CL tie with Milan.

A major breakdown has to happen at Barcelona and Madrid in order for Atletico to win it, implying that they can't lose many points like today. Right now it would be best for them to focus on the CL so they can get as much money as they can from a good run, as they have debt problems. It's looking grim for next season too I reckon, Courtouis might be recalled back to Chelsea and Costa is being scouted by some of the big clubs as well.

Yes, everything is still wide open, point difference is so small, but the depth and experince will provide both Real and Barca much easier job until the end. Atletico is also playing CL and they've a real chance to pass Milan and move to quarter-finals, though I think Milan will do exactly the same thing as they did it home at San Siro where they were far better team, created a lot of chances to score but it wasn't good enough. Consequetly, Madrid team scored from their only real chance after corner kick if I'm not mistaken and that's it.

At least they've been kicked out from Spanish Cup from Real, 3-4 games less for them. However, as long as they're doing 2 jobs it's not gonna be easy for them to follow high tempo of RM & Barca.

It's games like those (the Madrid derby) that put me off from watching La Liga. Pitiful from both clubs, it's so irritating to watch.
