Atletico had the players to confidently dribble their way out of Barca's press rather than concede possession by a clearance or stray pass, something that no other team in La Liga has. Madrid has the players, but those players don't have the confidence in doing so.

That really looks bad. My first reaction when I read he got injured was "nice to see Barca player getting injured". But after I saw that photo...it looks really bad. And I really like Neymar, he looks like a nice kid.

Hope its nothing serious.

It looks like it's not as serious as expected. He will need to pass some more medical exams but he is expected to be out for no longer than 4 weeks.

Real Madrid is just 1 point behind Barcelona and Atletico after both teams drew their games.

I've watched the Barca game and Tata's substitutions are weird. They needed a goal and Levante was doing great at blocking their shots by putting 11 men in their box. Fabregas was subbed off and was pissed after. Pedro and Xavi were also subbed off for youngsters Roberto, Tello, and Dongou. Sanchez who wasn't contributing compared to Fabregas and Pedro played the whole game.

Some time ago I've read that Tata Martino might leave at the end of the season...
Barca IMO still are of the very, very best teams and are equal to us but I believe that they will get eliminated by MC. It is like there is no chemistry
between the team & coach... Might be wrong but that how I am seeing it...
Shame that Atletico failed to get the full points

They play better now than last season for me, more variety in attack and the fact they were able to handle Messi missing games with the resurgence of Pedro and Sanchez. One can't really blame them conceding with Pique and Mascherano as defenders, Madrid conceded more goals than them and they're supposed to have a better defense. They got some shallow bench too with Iniesta and Neymar injured, they don't have much choices left when their starters are firing blanks.

I think the today's result was with a bit of bad luck. They had a chance where 3 of their shots were saved consecutively, the GK saved Messi's shot from a 1-2 with Fabregas. The rebound hits Fabregas and he volleys it only for a defender to block it, the ball lands to Messi again and the GK recovers and got a hand to it.

For me, Madrid plays more lackluster than Barcelona. They were only saved multiple times by their player's individual brilliance and more often than not, their opponent just lies back and hopes for a miracle.

Madrid, for all the money they've spent haven't really impressed. They are slowly starting to play better but you'd expect much more from their team.

Barca very unlucky today and it's not easy whenever a team parks the bus against you. The league is wide open this year and it's very entertaining. I can't believe I'll say it, but I reckon Madrid might win it this year.

Considering Atletico seem to be struck with fear of going first, it's the circus I was talking about. :D

I'd much rather Barcelona win it then them, but they will have the momentum now. Both Atletico and Barca lost points two games in a roll, and Barca still have to play at the Bernabeu. Not to mention the Barca-Atletico game coming in the last match-day!

Same here, but later I found out that the quote was fake.
