unlike sg who havent turned in profit since 1970something

They've still spent way too much. Even with CL earnings they'll still make a loss this year, and that's not to mention previous years.

BTW, PSG were FOUNDED in the 1970s

I believe English clubs will soon follow the German model of membership. I know Liverpool are starting something this year.

It's another way to guarantee income outwith season ticket sales (for basically doing nothing), to keep the financial fair play rules away.

Munich as strangers

They certainly have :)

UEFA have almost cornered themselves into a corner with the statements that they have made so i dont think theres anyway that they can back down and allow teams to get away with breaking the rules without losing a lot of face with world football.

Oh they'll always find a way to weasel out. It's what bureaucrats do. They'll break under pressure from the footballing world if need be, but it remains to be seen if anyone has the will to exert that pressure.

These are clubs who have failed to provide some paperwork not necessarily because they incurred losses.

If you look at the goal.com article, it says that all clubs who already participated in European competitions for the 12/13 season. PSG and City still haven't participated. Chelsea did though. I am not sure if this relevant anyway.
