ok I made a quick search. I forgot Eremenko I always forget that he is a Finn, the captain plays for Samp and then there is hetmaj from chievo

Hradecky, Pukki and Sparv play in the Danish Superligaen, Pohjanpalo plays for Düsseldorf but I guess they cannot really be called famous. And Forssell isn't retired yet, he plays for Bochum.

It's weird how the players do alright with their clubs (Sparv and Eremenko were excellent this season) but the NT is just horrible. Captain Moisander said after the match that "we simply are not good enough". :(

The coach has been sacked. You were right.

Mathematically we need 3 more points to qualifie to EURO.
It seems we will play our first EURO ever.

well done ... your other dream now is that the Czech fails to qualify

Hmmmm I have to say no. Actually I dont care about them  They dont have bad team, however not so strong as in past years but they'll make it to through the qualification.

I hope he has a full season without injury next season, then we can better judge how good he really is, and can be. Arsenal need to play him further forward as well. He isn't a holding midfielder

Pardon the ignorance but you have different leagues right? I mean Slovaks and Czechs.

Yes, since 1994. Czechs have Synot league and we have Fortuna league.

100,000 € fine, minus 1 point and next 2 matches outside of Split and Poljud stadium. Well, I guess nothing won't change.

HNS/CFF consciously avoided Split for the last 15 years and all kind of problems in Croatian football are causing these incidents. It's a revolt against the leadership of Croatian FA and everything started 3 and half years ago.

I won't be surprised of some football hools or other actors provoke disqualification of Croatia team during Euro 16', though.

Country is following the steps of Greece, so nothing won't be spared by some people who will try to pull down everyone or at least whatever they can include. But the real cancer is Croatian policy, entire government, complete parliament and political establishment who's been destroying every single part of society for the last 20 years together with deeply corrupted Croatian justice system, inefficient state and public companies who generate only losses, corruption, who also think that they can live forever on someone's else work and money, etc.

These are just the consequences of complete incompetence of the political establishment whose only matter is to win elections on every single level, from villages and suburbs all the way to prime minister and parliament positions. :|

Wales are one win away from qualification and top their group above the much fancied Belgians (much fancied here anyway because most of them play in the overrated PL  ).

The Dutch are now in real danger of missing out altogether after losing to Iceland

Iceland deserve all this...
Holland are risking to even miss the play-offs.

What a garbage of the game last night in Azerbaijan, haha. Typical Croatia at its best. Mandžukić completely out of shape, no game, no chemistry, one big nothing! Like always, bunch of football stars on one place(Modrić, Rakitić, Mandžukić, Kovačić, Srna, etc.) playing a desperate football. :|
At least Robert Prosinečki has done a great job so far in Azerbaijan - three games, 0 defeats and 0 goals conceded while he also won one match which means the best row in Azerbaijan's football history. =D>

we will be facing them next Sunday...
Yes the beat us
Jeez I've forgot that it is Robert Prosinecki their coach! vs his own country... Therefore in this group there are two mini derbies as our coach is italian!!
I don't think we can take more than one point from the Azeris...

I saw some highlights from your match... Mandzu was pathetic to say the least.

Finland is meeting Greece in Piraeus tonight. Roman Eremenko is injured and since the new head coach hasn't taken over yet, our assistant coach is in charge. Our captain (Moisander) is also injured but Tim Sparv carries the armband tonight and I believe he's much more suitable for the job than Moisander.

The Greeks have even less points (2) than we have (4) and they hate us at the moment. Promising.

Why don't they like Finland? It's not to do with their political situation?
