ok I made a quick search. I forgot Eremenko I always forget that he is a Finn, the captain plays for Samp and then there is hetmaj from chievo

Hradecky, Pukki and Sparv play in the Danish Superligaen, Pohjanpalo plays for Düsseldorf but I guess they cannot really be called famous. And Forssell isn't retired yet, he plays for Bochum.

It's weird how the players do alright with their clubs (Sparv and Eremenko were excellent this season) but the NT is just horrible. Captain Moisander said after the match that "we simply are not good enough". :(

Don't worry. Did you see Denmark-Serbia yesterday? Half of the Serb NT play in PL top teams and do a very good job with their teams. But for the past 5 games, they were beyond terrible :p

these Euros are going to be very interesting... even if France are doing badly atm still I fancy them to the final price...
Teams such as Iceland,Slovakia,Wales, Norhtern Ireland, Hungary, Albania and also Cyprus can make it to the finals.

Iceland and Cyprus who would have thought about it? The former have less population than my country!! What they are doing is amazing. All their players play abroad and I think that is the trick.

The objective that my country has is to export as much as possible young players to mainland Europe. Currently we have a 16 Y/O at Man Shitty and one has just signed a PRO contract with AS Roma. Others are doing trials with important teams.
Here we have huge talent but 99% of it get lost by the age of 16/17... this is because of lack of porfessionalism and cash... so at that age one would be better off by continuing his/her studies cause the opportunities are rare and limited.
The other objective to improve our NT is to find players abroad with a Maltese ancestry. We already did it in the past by getting two Aussies who play regularly with their teams (actually they captain their teams) Manny Muscat of Wellington Phoenix and John Hutchinson of central coast mariners.
However the current coach has not called them anymore!
Now we are in talks with former U17/19 England captain Sam Magri. Prospects are looking good.
There is another one who plays for Barnet (Gambin) who might also turn for our NT

You are from Malta right? You have the most difficult group probably :/
Iceland was amazing during the last qualifiers too. They won against my NT, won against Switzerland and so on. And they played well - it wasn't simply luck.
And it's a great thing for the NT to "export" young players. It would be much worse if you didn't have any proper academies and relied on players who would choose to play for your NT despite growing up in another country ("Maltese ancestry" like you say)

Some players came to thank us after the match & I happened to be at the right time at the right place and he spotted me and handled it to me. The guy next to me asked for it cause he is a fan of the team he plays with but he still gave it to me.
I ve never handled a wet garment as this:?

Slovakia's sixth win in a row. Wow I cant believe it
Mathematically we need 3 more points to qualifie to EURO.
It seems we will play our first EURO ever.
