Dutch Football

Postby Firefox1234 » Wed Jan 30, 2013 1:16 am

Racist chants were targeted towards American striker Jozy Altidore today in a KNVB cup game. Altidore insited to keep the game going and later scored but the crowd started pelting ice at the refs when he showed a red card twice. Im proud of Altidore that he wanted to keep on playing, its easy to react and get angry but its harder to take the high road and ignore those type of people without saying a word. Hate creates more hate nothing comes of it.

I found out today that I've been teaching this guy's sister for the past two weeks. What a goal!

He is on loan for this season.

I think its the wrong choice.. Hiddink again, been there done that and van Nistelrooij on the bench aswell? He has no training experience whatsoever. Same thing about Blind taking over 2016. They should take Germany for example, trainer for a long period and create a style and team.

Hiddink's name was confirmed like 3-4 months before WC.
May be he could do something similar as LvG who did do better than his previous stint.

Yeah but that's the problem with Dutch national team. The ego's of certain players and the constant change of headcoach, like that you can never build a proper team, because every coach has his own style, especially with young guys, consistency would be good for them.

BAM! PEC Zwolle beat Ajax, YET AGAIN, this time with 1-0 to win the Johan Cruijff cup haha.. Last season the Dutch cup against Ajax and now this. That's really great for a team that just came up to the eredivisie last season.

Is 9 seconds after kick-off the fastest penalty conceded in a match?
