Stuttgart really suck this year, and Gladbach are on a downward spiral.

Good job for Leverkusen and especially for Hannover who had a great come back with a man less for almost the entire game. They are really a force to watch this season in the BL and EL.

Gladbach sucks and you could see it when they played Dinamo Kiev. I read that Favre was angry because he didn't want to buy De Jong and he doesn' fit with his tactics

It is a bit strange to be honest. They appeared to be ready for the new season with a handful of smart transfers. Maybe they need some time, but it's becoming late for them to turn things around.

Happy Birthday Xabi :D

Hannover is the only German team who holds the flag in the Europa League, it seems. It was like this last season and so it is this season. =D>

Borr. Monch & Stuttgard are both disappointing! It is a shame.

I think Slomka deserve to get a chance in a big club. Maybe Bayern? For me a better option then Favre.

Slomka is the only one of that counter-attacking school of coaches that actually can cut it in Europe (unlike Favre and, until 4 days ago, il Kloppo), so... perhaps he could be in Uli's sphere of interest...?

Klopp is not really a counter attack manager

But agree about the other 2 , 2 seasons ago ,Hannover lead the league in Counter attack goals by a good margin

Last season i think was between Hannover and gladbach
With gladbach relying on their Star and 3 assistants (reus with arango ,herrman and hanke)

Hannovers counter attacking is more a team philosophy , you put zieler in a counter attack and he will do the right thing

Besides, hannover leads the league this season in efficiency (scored 14 goals in 51 attempts -not only on goal attempts)

Well counterattacking is counterattacking whether it comes from pressing or sitting back. Though il Kloppo is finding it increasingly difficult to surprise his opponents with the high press these days.

I've noticed that German teams and Spanish teams are about the only teams from the top 5 leagues that take the EL seriously. It's helped Germany in giving them 4th place, while it's helped Spain by giving it a lot of up-and-comers from Bilbao, Athletico, Valencia etc.
