Don't patronize me you f*ck! <- (MUTU take note)

That's not a spelling mistake, but a clear sign you know jack shit about the guy you're critisizing.

A non German speaker misspells a German last name!

Back on topic, You’re just deflecting my dear. You don’t have anything of substance to discuss about the facts and in typical fashion, you are resorting to personal ad homs.

Lastly criticism should be embraced as it is a free speech right. If someone can’t take criticism then it shows mental weakness. Anyway take care hon!

LMAO, gotta love how you're attempting to claim superiority after I was simply correcting you on two false statements.

1. No one said the statement you made. (Nagelsmann the savior)
2. You can't spell the name of one of the biggest topics in Bayern this week correctly

Substance enough to me. Correcting false things, is important for the narrative.

Bit of a sore thing to be corrected, apparently. What did you call that? Mental weakness? Enjoy the fishing trip. :coffee:

Anyway, Europa League.
German sides are shit, but Dutch sides aren't doing much better. Only two made it into the final group stages....so far, no wins. Coefficient was already dreadful, soon enough no Dutch clubs will get direct places into the group stage. Dark ages basically.

It's kinda sad to see the images from Lazio's game last night, hardly any crowds there. Not to mention the half empty stadiums in Sinsheim and Berlin. On the other hand Cologne manage to make Europa League look like a good riot. I know everyone is talking about the reshaping of UCL, bc of all the money and monopoly held by a small group of clubs...but to me it seems Europa League is in a much bigger need of a revamp.

I expected more from Berlin and Hoffenheim. I knew Cologne was gonna suck. I still hope Berlin and Hoffenheim somehow manage to reach the Ro16 at least and the less said about Dutch clubs the better.

Leipzig too at best will be EL bound come December. They still have to travel to Porto and Monaco.

Bayern should still qualify for the Ro16 and for Dortmund they need to hope that RM do the double over Tottenham and then win 2-0 at home against the London side. I don’t see Dortmund getting anything from the Bernabeu away leg.

If Real do the double over Spurs they could have group win secured, and could care less about the game vs Dortmund. Bit like Atletico and us last year. So Dortmund in my opinion is still in this, but it depends a lot on Spurs...

Leipzig is the biggest European disappointment to me. They looked like a truly skilled unit last season, and considering they didn't sell any big names, I was expecting them to do a lot better in the group they're in. That being said, Monaco were dreadful this round (and aren't as strong in the league as last season), so I do still see some chances for Leipzig, if they regain form (which they can do AFTER we play them in Pokal).

Tbf, can we really have any expectations of Köln or Hertha? Köln have not been good, I didn't pay them much attention last season but I don't think I was blown away then either, and BATE at least have some pedigree. Maybe I should be shocked by Hertha but I am not. At least they are good for BL publicity in other ways.

Tbh, I think RedQueen is right that (at the risk of putting words in her mouth when I am in fact misunderstanding) that many of the traditional BL clubs are pretty content with mediocrity.

I don't mean that it's a conscious decision to be content with mediocrity, it's just that they lack professionalism. And the reason is their club structures, especially the presence of "club legends" who are behind the times in important positions, hinder any kind of innovation or change.

Ouch....I don't even want to think of the EPL numbers in comparison to this list.
