It would be a big advantage for the German coefficient if BvB and Leverkusen can keep advancing especially while knocking out a couple English clubs

I am always looking to retain a position in the top 3, where the fourth team in champions league is conceded.

Napoli and Fiorentia is eliminated from europa league, so now with Lazio alone representing Italy, seems that they will struggle this season in points. It is a great opportunity for the german clubs to add coefficients for get away of Italy and secure mathematically the permanence in the top 3 for more years.

Bayern - Juventus second leg match will be the key for the sucess.

Yes. Although i was actually hoping for Italy to surpass England in the coefficient, but not at the BuLi's expense obviously. Schalke should be banned from European competitions for the embarrassment they did yesterday.

The problem with England is that they have the economic capacity to get up again. Their teams can expend and build very good teams, that will start to sum coeficcients soon.

So, I see an eternal fight between Germany and Italy .

If every time a German club is banned from European competitions for getting embarrassed, it'd soon be FC Bayern II's chance to play.

This is my biggest fear with English teams but in my opinion the money they generate may cause a sense of false pride for example Newcastle who had shed millions on talent but are now fighting a relegation battle.

Money and success a club have are closely related but fortunately its not the end all be all, because while English clubs are marveling over the fact they can make regular 20, 30, and maybe even 40m transfer fees they are blinded to the low key talent smaller and less richer clubs are scouting out. Also English clubs can now be expected to be paying "premium" for any player they want from now on even if the player doesn't match that quality.

The people will now get to know how good Spurs are....and how got Pochettino is..I tip them to eliminate BVB. They are a much more homogeneous, cohesive and sincere unit..

Hey, we've been saying for quite some time that the 4th tier is not enough to develop our youth!

Can't pick a winner, but would go with BVB as they have less distractions in the league.

Italy was about to overtake England for the 4th CL spot... I think that there was a 3 point difference between them, too bad that's not going to happen.

Anybody else watching the Dortmund game? Lovely to see a PL team getting bossed by a Bundesliga team. 8)

The only way Dortmund is going to fail to advance is by gifting them the usual German gifts. Tottenham are just average to OK team.
