The ****... Though Leverkusen, Bayern and Dortmund won in the CL and Schalke played a draw... Roma draw aswell and Juve lost.. Italy made up some slight points compared to Germany, because of their EL teams it seems.. I thought CL games award more points compared to EL? :S Or is it because Mainz is already out?

Who cares? They are far away and their future don't seem bright.

Good wins for the two German teams last night. Both on course to qualify. I have high hopes for the BL teams this year, especially Gladbach. QF should be the least of their ambitions

So Wolfsburg lost 2-0 at home to Everton. Premier League has really had a good run over the Bundesliga this week. Gladbach were also losing, away to Villarreal, but have now obtained the equalizer. Still over half an hour left.

And Villarreal scored now. If Gladbach can't turn this around, all German clubs would have lost in Europe this week.

Leverkusen - Monaco and Wolfsburg - Everton were more or less the same game. The German team dominates the game but concedes in a counterattack. It's also happened before this season in European competitions. Bad luck for Wolfsburg because they were disallowed a 100% legit goal

Gladbach played a poor first half but were the better team in the second. They also rested some players like Herrmann or Kruse.

Gladbach needs at least a draw at home against Zurich to qualify.

Wolfsburg needs a draw away to Lille to qualify.

Both should make it to the next round [-o<

We lost every single direct encounter with English teams this week. That's a major setback in overtaking them.
