The bad thing for Freiburg is that Liberec are beating Sevilla 1-0

This means that the table currently sees Liberec 7, Sevilla 6, Freiburg 2, Estoril 1.

It will be actually good for them if they fail to qualify. They need to fight in Bundesliga to avoid relegation.

But the BuLi needs those valuable coefficient points

It doesn't really. Not for Bayern anyway as unless we have 5 or 6 really bad season's we'll pretty much always be in the top pot.

It's more vital for teams in smaller leagues who want to avoid playing a top league in the qualifiers etc.

I realize that but it gives you some bragging rights when EPL and La Liga fans call the BuLi a one team league but their teams are losing to German sides. Also a strong league keeps Bayern a desirable destination for Europe's top talents

^ this, and TV rights too. It's fair to say that Bayern indirectly gain from other Bundesliga clubs' good results in European competitions.

Freiburg after playing three Europa League games have 9 points, 8 goals scored and 0 goals conceded. =D>

Their european dream continues. They are a very good, balanced team.
