I’m really impressed with Salzburg. They deservedly beat Bayern in that January friendly, when Bayern seemed to underestimate them and pick the wrong game for extensive experimentation. I saw the first leg of the Ajax v Salzburg Europa League tie, where they won 0-3 and made Ajax – the Dutch league leaders and the team who had beaten Barcelona and Celtic – look incredibly ordinary. The only thing that surprises me about last night’s 3-1 is that Ajax got a goal. (I can’t find a download for that match but would love to watch it retrospectively.) Next up is a tie with Basel, but I think that Salzburg can ease past them and go all the way in this competition.

He still need to upgrade winning mentality in this team. We saw what happened last year in the last 2-3 weeks of the season where Benfica lost everything and Cardozo was so angry that he pushed Jesus in all that tragedy and chaos.

This club has a bigger potential to make something great in the CL unlike Porto, that's my opinion. No matter what's been going on for the last 20-25 years, Benfica is once again the biggest institution of Portugal. But first they have to finally get serious, bring true people in that club like we did with Sammer and start kick asses all around the globe.

I remember it well particularly the two miraculous comebacks against Basel and Steaua Bucharest.
I'm really hoping my team Hull City (hopefully not Hull Tigers) will enjoy similar European adventures next season if we win the FA Cup or finish runners up to Arsenal.

Well it will probably effect your league form but it would still be worth it

He scored against Juve in Turin, it made sense that he's in starting XI.
