Tough break especially after a great start. Its gonna be hard for the BuLi to overtake the EPL with no GermN clubs in the Europa League. Hopefully Spurs lose to keep the possibility alive.

Yeah, at least they didn't lose though and still obtained a coefficient point with the draw.

PS: Spurs already lost the first leg 1-0, so if Dnipro score 1 goal Tottenham would need to score 3 goals to go through.

I am sad for E.Fr. But if i am not mistaken they would have met Napoli
so better to lose now.

Frankfurt deserve some serious recognition, they went toe to toe with one of Europe's top clubs and made a good cup run despite being 13th in the BuLi.

If Tottenham go out as well tonight it won't make much of a difference in terms of coefficients as the EPL would have no teams left in this competition either.

Really sad for Frankfurt. They managed two admirable results against one of the Europa League giants.

I lied. Fiorentina have Marvin Compper (ex-Gladbach and Hoffenheim, and was capped once for the NT) playing at the moment.

Thought Frankfurt lacked the brains needed to close the game out when they were 2-0, then 3-2 up, typical of a less experienced team against a team like Porto. All three goals could have been avoided if they just had someone telling their defence not to do anything stupid. Sometimes you just need to sit back and soak up the pressure, which the best teams do well (as we Bayern fans all know he he). As admirable as going toe to toe for 180 minutes is, it requires a lot of luck for an inexperienced team to result in success.

Still I doubt they'd have beaten Napoli anyway and at least they were competitive for the whole tie, unlike some teams, naming no name *cough* Neverkusen *cough* Schalke

Gomez just broke the offside trap perfectly, received the ball but the linesman incorrectly put his flag up.

Spurs are crumbling, looks like their will also be no English clubs in the Europa League :P

Edit: Its 1-1 Spurs vs Dnirpo 56'(1-2 agg)

Spurs have to score two more times cause Dnirpo have the tie breaker

Spurs are playing against 10 men. In fact they scored 2 of the goals against 10 men.

Fiorentina have done all 3 subs meaning that Gomez is set to play the full 90 minutes. Klose came on and scored today. Looking a bit brighter for Germany's WC 2014 hopes.
