I think the start up line should be as followed

--------------Starke----------
-Rafinha--DVB--Dante--Can--
-----Javi/Tymo------Bastian---
----Shaqiri----Müller----Weiser-
---------------Pizzaro--------------

Rafinha and Can should get some playing at as full backs.
Javi needs to make an appearance ever for 10min
Bastian should get playing to since he returned from an injury
Shaqiri and Weiser are more than enough for wings against SSV Jahn.
Pizzaro should also play to prove himself
Starke is a great GK, there is no risk at the goal

Maybe you'd want to switch Weiser (a RB/RM) with Shaqiri (who can play anywhere in attacking midfield)

PS: the name is Pizarro not Pizzaro.

^ True switching Shaqiri and Weiser is better.
And sorry my bad, i didn't see that. Pizarro* :P

But i think this formation is more than enough to defeat a team like SSV Jahn Regensburg

I think so, but I don't know if it could be too early for Schweinsteiger. We don't want to rush him in too early and his current injury status is still a bit shrouded in mystery.

I'd rather play Kroos there for the time being.

No line-up predictions yet by the major newspapers. At this point, I guess any of them will be pretty bold attempts. But we can pretty much speculate on our opponents'.

Exactly a week ago, they played their second 2. Bundesliga match, and won 2-0 at home to MSV Duisburg (kicker's report). Their best players were Sembolo (1.5 match rating) and C. Rahn (2.5 match rating).

Sembolo was great against 1860 too, so he might pose some troubles.

I like it, but I think that Schweini should be limited to a sub appearance. Don't forget that he played a full game on Wednesday. So I hope to see Kroos instead of him, unless Heynckes wants to play Can there and Badstuber or someone else at LB.

I'm also not sure whether Rafinha is fit enough to play.

Oh, and about the Javi/Tymo position, Gustavo would be a better choice. If he signs tomorrow you just can't expect him to play on the same day, and we might not even have signed him by then. Tymo is probably on the way out so I prefer seeing Gustavo play.

Not only that, but he would need to be registered with the DFB, a decision taken on his shirt number, and they would need to actually print out a shirt with his name on the back (even though admittedly they can already print a lot of different shirts with different numbers already, just in case).

Shaq, Weiser and Can should definitely get playing time. Their unpredictability is crucial versus teams that have likely seen a lot of Bayern games, thus knowing the tactics (who doesn't these days?).

Is he fit? I thought he was still injured. He should defo be our first choice if Alaba is out of the picture, true.
