So either the hardest draw (but at least at home) or the easiest on paper...

It's a bit unfair on the two teams that they already know Bayern is waiting.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!

Official generic DFB-Pokal discussion thread

Postby #12 » Wed Mar 01, 2017 11:36 pm

How so? Wanna win the thing? Gotta beat everyone...

As a Bayern Fan: Dortmund will be easier to beat at home than in Berlin... At Dortmund would've been horrible...

Also, the game is - again - close to the BuLi fixture

If we get Dortmund, that is

This is correct. Rather a home match against Dortmund than a final in Berlin.

True. Just try not to remember the last time we played them at home in a Pokal semi final. :P

That was a penalty shootout. Just remember our latest away game performances (including vs BVB)

Well... No Robben, No Ribéry, no wingers at all... Showing them around for 70 something minutes, one mistake, **** up the penalties...
If we show this intensity and keep our cool in front of the goal the above statement is still true...

For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Rudy) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3

Looks like in all likelihood we'll be facing BvB. 2-0 in the 73rd minute currently.

Anyone know if the winner of Gladbach v Frankfurt gets into the EL if they get to the final whether they win the cup or not, bearing in mind their final opponents, whether it's us or Dortmund, are practically guaranteed CL football next season. Just wondering as Hull qualified for it even after losing the English cup final to Arsenal a few years ago.

If so their semi final tonight is a play off for the EL as well as a chance to be in the final.
