I had a feeling that they would meltdown after the Liverpool loss, but they proved otherwise and came out 3-0 winners at the weekend with a weakened squad. A final of Bayern-Dortmund would be the most interesting to watch.

Plus Ramos, back in form, going against his former team.

Hertha are missing chances especially Kalou he had two glorious chances. And Dortmund scored from a Brook's slip.

Assuming Bayern are in the CL final, will the Pokal final be pushed back? IIRC, it was pushed back in 2013 . . .

No. The Champions League final is on 28th May and the DFB Pokal final is on 21st May.

The reason I'm asking is the 2013 DFB Final was on June 13th. Was it scheduled on that date from the start? Or was it pushed back to help FCB focus on the Champion's League Final? Thanks for you input.

It was pushed back because BuLi started later after the Euro 2012... It was not changed for the sake of Bayern (and/or Dortmund)
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

That clears it up- thanks. I'm already a bit nervous have to play Dortmund the week prior to Real/City. Maybe it will keep the teams sharper :)

Ehm... You DO know there's some other business to finish before even remotely thinking about Real/City, do you?!

I obviously prefer Hertha in the final. I also prefer playing the CL final before DFB-Pokal but the dates are set it seems.

I prefer playing the Pokal final before a potential CL final. If we win, that means we'll know that if we win the CL it'll be a treble + it'd be good momentum. If we lose, it'll increase determination to end the season on a high the following week.

On the other hand, if we played the CL final first, losing it would probably mean such low morale that we'd lose the Pokal as well (like 1999), and if we are European Champions I'd just be scared we'll mess up the treble.

In 2012 Dortmund humiliated us 5-2 a week before the CL final. Granted, we lost that one too, but looking at our performance I firmly believe we didn't deserve to. That's what I mean by wanting to end the season on a positive note.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!
