Alright, so either we're out early or the last winner is out early. Pretty tasty draw.

I am confident about our chances. I couldnt catch the supercup vs them but the real madrid game in audi cup and today's hsv game were pretty controlled. Pep got the tactics absolutely right. And we now have Vidal to rough up Kevin!

Too early indeed. Very tough draw. Only positive thing if we get knocked-out is that we will focus on the league and CL.

Can you imagine the pressure on Pep for the remainder of the season if we get knocked out in the second round of DFB Pokal?

Only positive thing is that if we manage to go through, it would be a huge step forward in our quest for the Cup (and treble).

I know I'm crazy but it would very good for Bayern to get eliminated from the Pokal. There would be no other way for Bayern to regain its image than winning CL. Additional plus - not so many games in a week, better preparation for CL campaign which is the most important. CL champions first, BL champions second, Pokal the third.

Great news! I wanted them right now. Forget about a matchup with them in Berlin, this cup only matter winning it, if we can’t, is better to not participate, because later those games in midweek bothers.

Beat them and increase the probability to win the cup or go home and focus in champions league. Its all right now.

But it could have been better to meet them latter when Thiago and Robben are in better shape and Javi might be back.

Is not a good news to get eliminated from pokal, but is a bad news to reach to semis or final and not win it, because it means bayern waste energy.

I prefer to eliminate all the contenders right now, in order to have a second half of the season an easy quarterfinal, semifinal and final matchup, that will not bother players minds and legs in the champions league midweek matches.
