Maybe I am spoiled, from watching to much disciplined football, but that game was not impressive from both teams, in terms of coaching.

Plus the fact that Zambrano & Leva were acting like two 12 year old children in a playground...
I actually saw only the 2nd half... Frankfurt had some chances that could have sent them through.

I prefer Dortmund football then Bayern football. And we showed a lot of discipline at the back.

Besides, I would argue about Bayern being "disciplined", in defence of course.

We played some good stuff from time to time tonight. Hard to expect more if we play without Hummels, Reus and GUndogan but team did a good job.

I am starting to hate Dortmund's corner kick strategy of placing a guy before the first post.

The bastard blocks the keeper's line of sight and his pass backwards compensates for their lack of jumpers (much less without Hummels on the pitch) by giving little time to the defenders to react to the second 'volley.'

Usually the defending team keep a player upfront themselves. So, I don't find an opposing player standing there odd.
In our case, Mandzu is in front most of the times when we defend corners. Never noticed anyone there when we are taking it ourselves though.

I hope Bayern play BvB in the finals of the DFB Pokal this season. If Bayern do win the UCL again and the Pokal the last trophy to win, it would make it a lot more interesting than last season vs Stuttgart but either way i wud be content....

I think the Pokal final will be a week before the UCL final this year.

That would be more convenient since the UCL is the main part of the treble accolade :P

I agree. It's a lot more exciting when the UCL final is the last game of the European season.
