We seem to always get tough draws in the second rounds in the last few years....and Dortmund continue their 'lucky' lower league opponents streak.

So our schedule: RBL, RBL, Dortmund...

Carlo could be out by the NT break in November if those games go tits up. :o

Leipzig's bubble has burst IMO. They will not be as lethal this season as they were last season. This draw doesn't scare me one bit. If we have our main players healthy then we'll get through. Will be interesting though playing them twice in a matter of few days.

Actually it will be:

24-25 October away vs RBL
27-29 October home vs RBL
31 October/1 November 4th CL group stage match
3-5 November away vs Dortmund

Matches are not listed in our fixture list since the date has not yet been finalised. I'll need to upgrade our fixtures list code so that we can input matches whose schedule has not yet been finalised.

You just know the CL match in the middle is going to be a hard one as well. Maybe PSG, a Spanish, English or Italian team.

At least RB also have that CL game to worry about. And they have Dortmund away before facing us...

Dortmund might usually be lucky in the first rounds draws, but everytime they face us before the final, the match is played in Allianz. At least the last 3 times.

Nice statistic. Went to look in the history 'books' and found out that the last time we played away against Borussia Dortmund in the German Cup was on 12th September 1992. We lost on penalties because (not Thiago's father) Mazinho missed his penalty.

Since then we played them in the 2008, 2012, 2014 and 2016 finals (neutral stadium) and also in 2013, 2015 and 2017 at the Allianz Arena.
