Ribery must mature, he gets angry quickly to any provocation.

Koo also deserve the red card too, but it doesnt matter right now, what really matter in the future is that Ribery must control his emotion, because after this event, there will be many rivals who will try to provocate him, knowing that he can get angry easily.

The opponents already know that he retaliates easily. Any other player would have been in contention for an emmy with the play acting after being touched in the face but not Ribery. :)

Ribery has always been a hot head so im not surprised he got Koo back but it pissed me off that Koo was let off easy hopefully. Defensively Bayern looked quite fragile but Martinez single handedly destroyed Augsburg. Great to see Gomez and Shaqiri on the scoresheet, nothing helps a players form more than goals and clean sheets. Also this game was a good way to forget a disappointing game at Gladbach and enter a long and much needed break for the players with a win because it only gets harder from here on out.

Today was another tough game in Ausburg, more difficult than the other visits. The field was in bad condition, causing trouble to bayern to made their game, that is control the ball with passes.

Ausburg created many chances to score, making Neuer our best player today, but bayern deserved the win because despite the poor defensively performance, bayern was the team who created more attempts to score, scoring twice and unlucky again for a bad desicion of the referee for not consider a goal to the shot created by tymo in the last minutes of the first half, also for being in disadvantage in players in all the second half, considering that Koo also deserved the red card.

Right now is time to rest, physicall and mentality and recharge energy for being prepared to the most difficult part of the season.

the best first half season, I have ever seen. Thanks Bayern! =D>

Koo should have got a Red card aswell , he challenged Ribery and Ribery should have got the yellow or red card.

Referee was wrong on this one but he gave cards so well... nothing you can do about it.

Koo should have received a red card also, he was the one that started the whole thing, it's not like he didn't do anything.

I thought the referee was fair in the Koo vs Ribéry case. First off, it's standard practice that retaliation is considered a much bigger offense (not that I necessarily agree with this, but it's the way the rules are). Secondly, Koo just touched Ribéry's face; the latter literally shoved him in the face.

Ribéry should have enough experience to not succumb so easily to provocation unless he wants to replicate the dark side of his legendary countryman in a particular WC final.

Tymo is really unlucky. He had so many cannon shots on the post or missed by few centimeters and now this great, valid goal stolen. It would be the highlight of the game...

So, are there still any doubts on who is the real Super Mario in the team? 8)

In fact, almost every game he's harshly fouled, I get the impression that he's going to kick the offender's ass, but then he controls it. Yesterday, it was too much for him to handle, so his temper got the best out of him. He should definitely be able to manage himself properly, but I guess I would've done the same thing. The bad part is that his punishment may be deemed to hard and he might miss the rest of the Pokal campaign due to the red.

Only if it was Busquets. The referee would have given 7 reds and 4 yellows for the Augsburg players, as well as a touchline ban for all their managerial staff.

By the way, anyone noticed Bastian throwing away the Augsburg jersey seconds after he traded it with the Ausgburg player? He looked suddenly pissed off as if he saw a ghost or something :?

I am glad that some quickly pointed out that the ref was fair. Ribery annoys me with his attitude every time he is touched. He is an amazing player fun to watch but many times when there is small contact he stops playing and looks up to the sky like saying: “They fouled me”! Many times the ref does not even blow the whistle and he is left stranded instead of tracking down the turnover.

Koo’s foul is a yellow because if the incident wouldn’t have escalated that’s what he would have gotten and nobody here would be talking about a red. Ribery needed to confront him getting on his face with his arms down and the yellow could have come with a few red spots = on the next clear foul Koo would have seen the showers. Instead Ribery showed again immaturity and ego that could have ended Bayern’s Pokal campaign yesterday.
