Schweini playing is more important than Ribery at this point, but we can cope without both if worst comes to worst.
We will rise again! (when we stop burying our heads in the sand)

I hope Basti can play at least part of the match. Injuries haven't been kind to him this season, but every chance he gets he makes an impact, so if fitness permits he deserves to be there even if as a sub. Would be great to have him on the pitch and come up with a last big goal for the season.

Ribéry, though, I'm starting to wonder if we're seeing the decline of his career with these ongoing posterior injuries :?

You have a good point about Ribéry, I was thinking the same. Definitely if we don't see a big improvement past the Summer and into the first part of next season, then he really could be getting to many injuries where we won't see the quick nimble Ribéry anymore. Maybe a more central role for him versus the wings (like false 9, or CAM)??

I'm actually not too concerned with this although I would've loved having Thiago in on this

Before you start throwing toilet bowls at me, I think Basti's absence might be a good thing for both sides. He hasn't been in great form recently, and he needs the rest to remain fit and avoid another setback. On the other hand, Muller seems to be regaining form, and it would be unjust to have him benched for this game.

I'd like and hope to see this for the final:

I also think that playing Schweini isn't worth the risk. He has been off form and we saw during the Euros how playing an injured Schweini due to his pride/desire and our apparent belief that we can't win without him, is costly. Not to mention that playing and still unfit (or barely fit) Schweini over a fit Kroos with probably be the slap in the face that pushes Kroos to never sign that stupid contract extension.

My twitter sources say Mandzukic and Schweinsteiger were not on the plane to Berlin.

I read this too. Đilkoš didn't look good after he was replaced by Pizarro. At Marienplatz he was also having problems to walk.

Yes it is on SKY in germany.

Both must not have recovered from the injuries they picked up on Saturday v Stuttgart.

By the way Lewandowski is doubtful:

Ruhrnachrichten says Lewandowski stopping training was just a precaution.

Now that I know Mandzu didn't make it to Berlin, had to edit my original prediction ;)
