I'm quite pessimistic about it as well. We'll see where both teams stand when the game comes but if we were to play tomorrow, I'd say we'd lose.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!

Im just worried about not having Ribery, to me its the equivalent of taking Messi from Barca, Gotze from Dortmund, and CR7 from Real Madrid its gonna be a tough one

Not having Ribery is really big, no question. however, Bayern do have options Shaquiri is in fine form at the moment and hopefully he stays that way. Also, Robben should be back on the left if not Muller.

Shaqiri is not half a player Ribery is, this is definitely a plus for us. And it will be better for you to play Muller instead of Robben. We are very good at elimintaing Arjen from the game while Muller's movement on the pitch is much clever, he is harder to watch. For example, he created Kroos's goal in our last game thanks to his good run through the middle. I dont think Robben would do that.

Ribéry has been suspended, officially, for two Pokal games.

I think we could even play a Contento Alaba left wing... Something different and both have offensive and defensive attributes.

I like that idea. I hate that this match is being played between the CL games but, that being said, I feel like Jupp should throw everything at them that he can(even if it's not conventional). Obviously, you want to win the match so Muller and Shaquiri on the wings, if its not clicking you got Robben and ( as you said) Alaba to come in on the right and left respectively. I just hope JH throws some "caution to the wind" in this one cuz, Ribery's absence will definitely be felt!

I've just applied for two tickets for this game.

I've got my fingers crossed in hope that the game gets confirmed for the 27th, as that's when I arrived. But I think it's worth the risk if I can actually get a ticket and make it!

I probably won't get a ticket anyway as I applied for the cheapest tickets and asked not to get automatically get another category ticket! I don;t want to get charged €140 for two tickets if it gets confirmed for the 26th... though I'm willing to take the risk for the cheaper tickets!

Yeah, my thoughts by using Alaba is that you could keep Shaqiri as an impact sub for later on in the game. Right now, I'd have my line-up:

But the bench could have:

Starke, DvB, Rafinha, Shaqiri, Tymo, Gomez, Wieser

No way Alaba should not play on the LW vs strong opponents Bayern's first loss was when he played on the LW and it didnt work out i think a game vs Dortmund should not he a time to experiment. Bayern should stick to there guns and play Shaqiri on the left, i think Alaba should be used as an emergency LW when guys like Shaqiri and Robben are available.

I like that you're lending some credence to my theory that Müller is one scary ****er to face on the football pitch.

I agree re: Robben, by the way - while he's always been a predictable player, once he had the sheer skill and physical power to force his play on the opponents. Now that he doesn't... well, it hasn't necessarily worked out as well as his best year with us so far.

Man Dortmund just picked the wrong time to come :\ Ribery has huge influence but Bayern =/= Ribery. Beating them without Ribery would be awesome, I suggest this formation:

My blood is RED
My team is RED
It's Bayern München till I'm DEAD
