Im hoping for it actually. Our biggest weapon is fast, counterattacking football. But If you give us the ball we will have little idea how to hurt you.

PS There is a possibility Hummels wont play against you... he got a knock today and as Klopp said "Him recovering for Wednesday is not 100% sure". I think he will play but who knows...

If we score first, you can no longer play counterattacking football...

If being a key word. Its no secret Bayern wins most of the games in which they score first.

We did score a goal when trailing last time. But still, its obvious we feel better defending, adding a little pressing to that and trying to speed up the play after regaining possesion.

I so sure that they won´t know what´s hit them. The squad is just on fire and I would be surprised if Dortmund could hold us back ...

I've got a friend coming round to my house to watch the match with me on Weds.

My prediction for Dortmund.

Lets be serious for a while here, shall we?

Im expecting we will be a very hard opponent for Bayern. Klopp made us a team that doesnt lose big games, when it matters the most, at least in the last two years that has been the case. Looking at Bayern I have nothing but admiration for your results, win after win, two goals conceded and 22 scored in what, 7 games? That is great and builds respect.

With that said, we are not the kind of team to give up after trailing 0-1 like most of the BL teams you faced this year. Only Mainz really gave the impression they want to achieve something against you, rest of the teams looked like they wanted to get spanked the least. But we are going there to do something, we know our worth and know we can do you some damage.

And now, I dont know if you agree, the Wednesday game will probably be the hardest game you will play this season, for now of course. You haven't really faced super strong opposition so far. One was Arsenal which is not really great at the moment and you handled them relatively easily. The other one was... Dortmund. It ended 1-1 and the game took place on Allianz Arena. You failed to win in this one game which was very important to the fans.

So Im trully quite suprised about your predictions. I understand you can feel confident and all because of the points I made at the top, they are all legit. But still, I really thought you already acknowledged our worth and I guessed you would predict a tough game which will come down to details and not some 3-0/5-0 and complete dominance.... This way I have a feeling you treat Dortmund like a middle-class team and its not a nice feeling. :|

You will play without Ribery, who has always been your safety net. Something like - "we have a hard time breaking through rivals defence, lets pass to Franck, he will do some magic". He also made our and all the other teams defence focus on the left wing which left more spaces in other areas of the pitch.

Your squad+bench is outclassing our squad+bench BUT if we only compare our first elevens its not such a big difference. Without Ribery I would even say we have at least the same attacking force as you do! Our defence is a question mark but as I said earlier, in the big games we can make the problems go away and play great both in defence and attack.

I got it out of my system, if I offended anyone, that was not my purpose.

Borusse you are 100% right. We will face a tough match. Dortmund are facing up to big games and the 3-0/5-0 thing is bullcrap arrogance. Dortmund have broken into the 'top clubs' rank a couple of years ago and make no mistake they are up there with the biggest teams. It will not be one sided and we will hopefully be in for a game to enjoy!

I think you are absolutely right, although Bayern in a side to side comparison position by position, name by name is a more complete line-up Dortmund seem to close the gap when it comes to playing as a team (With Bayern still a mile -or 17 points ahead =P~ ). In Dortmund’s starting XI you hardly see the ego and selfishness highlights of a Robben or Ribery (something which is not necessarily bad as long as it is not excess) maybe because the age of Reus or Gotze, so Dortmund raises its game a notch as a team but what makes Bayern so impressive this season is precisely that they are more synchronized as a team this season.

Watching Dortmund yesterday without Lewandoski is the biggest proof of how in need of a 2nd reliable striker the team is. Not the case for Bayern with Gomez and Pizza as effective alternatives. Schieber is a 3rd class striker (I always thought Terrence Boyd had more potential and they sold him when they recalled Schieber) and the new Bajner guy does not tell me anything.

Dzeko next year?
