To sack Carlo? I hope not... I always felt that players purposely trying to get a coach sacked is the worst thing possible for a football club.

Seemed to have worked out okay so far for Leicester

(I agree though that it's a low move and I hope our guys are above that)

I think this game is another instance to show why Müller needs to play behind Lewandowski. Maybe I'm wrong or biased but I didn't see any link-up play with Lewa until Müller came on the field. Even if he's had a bad season I think his presence helps Lewandowski find space and create plays

Exactly. Ancelotti's lack of trust for Muller in big games is disgusting, especially considering that a 35 year old Alonso is starting every one of them.

In fact, it's important to note that in our 5 game losing or drawing streak, Muller started behind Lewandowski in only one of them(the draw at home to Mainz, which we really should have won, but I blame that one on a lack of any squad rotation whatsoever after overtime in Madrid).

That pass from Thiago to Lahm from the free kick that went straight out of bounds pretty much sums the game up.

Last night was probably Lewandowski's worst match for Bayern. Why does he struggle so much in the one-on-ones? It says a lot about our attacking form when we score two goals both of which from central defenders.

PS: what was Hummels doing so high upfield when he scored?

Oh good! Another excuse from the same game!

We are not a top team... Period.

I can't say for certain, but it's looked to me like Lewandowski has been playing hurt.
I don't think he was fully fit to play leg two vs Madrid (he looked off then too) and I'm not sure he's fully recovered. Today, he definitely didn't look entirely match fit to my eyes, but perhaps I'm just seeing things.

Again, that's all speculative and I don't have any proof, but it would make sense to me.

Exactly...

Lewa 's performance made me so mad...

Was this maybe part of a deal to get a player out of Dortmund ????

This morning I am feeling twice as much frustrated as last week!

It was a corner, they cleared the ball which was recovered back by our players ... somebody passed to Ribery and he passed it to Mats

That was an unfortunate loss, so many chances that could have put the game to bed at 2-1.

However, this is what a lot of us having been saying in the transfers section.

You look at this Dortmund team and they are a decent team, some terrific players upfront but on the whole, they are just that, only a decent team. They are not rock solid at the back, nor are they fanatical chasers like they were in the Klopp era. All Tuchel has really done is setup enough of a spine to support the front 3-4 players. They are in effect a watered down version of Madrid.

Against such a team, and especially at home, you expect Bayern munich to win despite any misfortune.
We do not have a squad at that level at the moment, the fans and the board need to accept this.

Also, I've always been a big fan of Alaba, but he has been a liability this season.

Ronaldo's headers against us, from which flank? Alaba's. It seems not only is he incapable of ever delivering a decent ball into the box, he is also becoming inept at stopping any coming into our box. For all of Marcelo's dazzling footwork and speed against Lahm, most of the damage against Real occured on Alaba's side. Today as well, Dembele did the damage on his side.

He also had a moment today where he was trying to wrap his foot around the ball and really bend one outside of Pizcek, ala Kolarov, FFs, Alaba #-o , you can't deliver a decent cross with no one blocking you, what makes you think you could do that

I suspect though, Alaba's dip in form has a lot to do with Ribery not being at his top level offensively and defensively (which was 3yrs ago now) as well.
