Round 2 of the cup and Bayern are pitted against their neighbours from Nuremberg. There's quite some time left and I'm hoping Ribery would have recovered by then and back to his best.

Nurnberg have been going through a tough time , just fired their coach recently , but we still shouldnt underestimate them ,
we know what happened last year against Cottbus .
The Cup always has its own rules and they should give 100 % even against a 2nd division team that has been lookin
awful in the last couple of weeks .

Ribery will be back for this match.

“We’ll watch him closely in training over the next two days and then decide whether to start with him, or whether it would be better to have him on the bench,” head coach Jürgen Klinsmann revealed to fcbayern.de on Sunday morning.

Klinsmann has hinted that he may try to rotate the players a bit more. Is this a chance for Sosa and Breno?

I like you formation with Ottl as a defensive midfielder and Borowski as the more advanced. But again I like Ze Roberto too.

If only we had another LB, we could experiment with Lahm at DM. The one time I saw him play there (albeit for the NT), he did really well!

I remember that, and I've been thinking the same thing recently. I think that was against England, but I could be wrong. I'll settle for Ottl for the time being. I like thulkazal's formation, except I think you have to have Ze in there somehow, which implies 3-5-2. With a 4-4-2, maybe Ze should start and bring Ribery on later for whoever needs to come off.

Yes, I think it was against England. But using Lahm for that position is wasteful imo.

what i like here is changing their places switching wings and etc

anyway borowski can step in on half time thou

JUST that bommel dont start hope Ottl take DM place

and we got sosa or kross to step in for ribery if it goes bad for him (hope so not)

Maybe for Sosa but not for Breno , I have the impression that Klinsmann is still considering our brazilian kid a 'risk' in the starting XI .
