5-0 the final score...

An easy game, easier than I thought it would be.... DVB, Lahm and Muller ruled...

Gomez lost 2 certain goals to get one :(

I'm disappointed of one thing in this game. And that is Rensing. He was doing good and not doing anything bizarre and then out of nowhere he invents something to make a fool of himself and embarrass the team. Fortunately the referee decide to give a corner but I am quite sure when he decided to grab the ball it was still on the line.

P.S. Van Buyten should replace Gomez as a striker :P

Van Buyten is a scoring machine, he is back to his best, like when he was playing for Hamburg. At Hamburg he also scored quite a few so it is not surprising to see him score that many so far this season. Also, Van Buyten has always been a player that on paper can play as an emergency striker.

That's it. It was on the line #-o

Ribery, Lahm, Sosa were the best of us today. Also Van Buyten, he scored two goals

Toni was really good too. He was really motivated and made two great assists, Müller (goal) and Klose (missed)
Mario missed two easy goals.

It was the typical DFB-Cup match of a superior, first league BL team against a lesser, lower league opponent. I thought all our bench players, who haven’t had any opportunity to play so far this season, showed we can count on them anytime. Sosa did well stimulating our offensive play down the right flank, with Robben missing. Ottl and Breno were solid at the back and did a good job in not allowing any ball to get near Rensing’s goal dangerously. Only slight disappointment was Hamit, who was very hesitant in his play, had several turnovers and was very imprecise in his passing. He probably deprived himself from any positive, personal perspective in Bayern’s first team, for some time with that performance.

It was better than the previous games, yes, but I still wouldn't say "he's adjusted to play as right-back", especially when you take into account the strength of our opponent last night. There's still a significant discrepancy, between what he's playing like on the right and what he is able to play like on the left.
