Yesterday, there was that incident when Jedvaj, Papadopoulos and Müller all got yellow cards, anyone knows what happened?

All I know is that Bayern had the ball 3/4 up the pitch and then I saw another ball flying on the bottom left corner of my screen, and after that there were arguments between the players and coaches but never saw footage of what happened with that 2nd ball.
Probably another dirty manoeuvre by Leverkusen to breakdown momentum ?

A Bayer player went down for the nth time. Bayern kept playing. Jedvaj kicked a ball to the pitch to prevent play.

There was a Leverkusen player on the ground and Bayern kept playing which Leverkusen didn't like. The injured player was moved behind the goalline (i.e. not an offside problem anymore) and was being treated when Jedvaj, who was on the bench, took matters into his own hands and (this is my assumption) threw a second ball onto the pitch in order to force the referee to stop play.

So why exactly did Muller get carded? I remember the incident but wasn't really paying attention at that moment.

Old school game, reminds me some old EPL matches 10-years ago for example

It was a solid performance, including the injuries that our team suffers I think we are doing great against two top German teams we kept clean sheets and we were solid not dominant as always but solid in every line especially our defensive attitude is improved in every way. Credit to Neuer for this win and big big credit to Jerome Boateng he is leading by example the defense!

We have a little problem upfront without Robben or Ribery we lack very much their quality for doing the unexpected,Lewa is doing great everything he does makes sense and he is top class,Muller gives it all but because of his technique and style can't create something out of nothing repeatedly in a game like our duo,Gotze is average anyway he has the class and the quality but he is just bad most of the times. Despite our situation with Robbery we are keep up good till now but against Porto we need to convert these chances like yesterday into goals,we clearly saw what happened after the big chance of Gotze(or Muller I don't remember clearly) happened with Bellarabi and Neuer's save!

I think the whole April will be like this, intense games, very cautious at the back and 3 to 5 chances upfront for a goal if we can bag a couple we will be relaxed if not then we will have a rodeo-game,I'm excited to be honest because I see passion from our players,I see an improvement at defense and a different Pep,he is more flexible to his ideas (or is just the injuries that tied his hands?) and the CL games are coming,we draw BVB at the DFB,we're going to have a tough road to glory this year.

He lost his cool and was arguing w/ Papa I believe. Not sure why Neuer was outside the throng of people surrounding the ref pushing some Neverkusen players out when this was happening. Usually the captain is in the middle of the scene.

Boateng was a surprise he walked away from a fight without a card!

Thought so, now I remember their injured player behind the pitch. I too didn't realise immediately how it started....was already with fever running up because of the thought of possible penalties. :D

Boateng at that time started having problems with his left thigh and most probably was more concerned about that.

He wanted that yellow card for the whole match and he got it finally in the end. :)

runaway wrote:Rode again is great against Neverkusen. It's his fighting spirit to attack the swarm that suits well against them.

Last night he was so useful after he entered the game. Castro was put on #10 by Schmidt to make Alonso's life sour, but Benatia's injury changed everything and that was it.

Way too high. He had a great game but also had some blemishes throughout as well. He deserves to be MOTM, but this rating is too high imo.

After the match, Emir Spahic headbutted a steward! Not only is there a sporting investigation but also the police are investigating! [source]

It seems to be getting more serious than the reports suggest. The DA is suggesting 6 months to 6 years imprisonment.
