I would like to see something like this:

..............Butt
Rafiña...DVD..Breno...Contento
...........Tymo
......Alaba......Pranjic
Muller.......................Usami
............Petersen

If we cant beat Freiburg with this we should start looking better back ups.

The ideal team

So... Breno or DvB against Cissé... Nice. And to save us from God forbid someone discovers Breno can't play is Butt? I have to admit, it is creative.

Edit: I always get van Buyten's initials mixed up with Dortmund's... Thanks E.

First it is DVB

second , we did not do rotation and we reached CL finals

and Fatigue was never a major problem in Bayern

besides , those are professionals and they can handle that

If they cant , then we are not better than 3rd division teams

But i am sure that we can

Robben scored his amazing running goal in 118th minute
Ribery did many good things in the final 10 minutes
Schweinsteiger has great Great stamina and also plays great in the final 20 minutes of every match
Never Heard of Mueller being tired
Lahm played 100 Matches in a row then he felt some tiredness , but with the summer break , the counter restarted
Rafinha is on fire
the CBS and Neuer dont move much same as Gomez

and So far we have been playing Tymoschuk in BL and Gustavo in CL

So we even can afford to play our best 11 , then Sub ROBBERY out in the 60th minute , and Schweinsteiger out in 75th minute

Again, if anyone I would only rest Lahm or Ribery. Then sub out Gomez and Schweini at some point if we are winning.

Now back to the good stuff :D

Villareal is playing at the moment and to be honest their defense is pretty shaky, but Rossi is a real source of danger. Nontheless, we should be able to beat them and claim maximum points

I can't wait for this game. We're dominating domestically these last 3 games. I can't wait to see how we'll do in Europe. I'm kind of glad we have a hard group, tbh.

Yea, I'm also uber excited to see our team preform greatly amongst Europe's best teams.
I also agree about the hard group being something that Bayern will benefit from, especially as we progress through the knock-out rounds.
We'll be battle tested.

... and Villarreal tied today against Sevilla, at their Madrigal home stadium. Their coached called their 2-2 a 'pride recovery' effort.

Coming from a 5-0 loss I guess a tie, even at home, is a good thing. Rossi tied the game at 35' from a 0-1 followed by a 2-1 by Rubén at 72'. Four minutes before 90' Sevilla marked the final 2-2, through Alexis.

I can't say their self esteem will be high enough for Ribery & Co.

Rossi is the only salvageable player other than Zapata IMO. I also found this on one of their blogs:

It's always hard to figure out how to assess a team when they play shorthanded for as much of the match as Villarreal did, and without their first-team goalkeeper as well. I thought Garrido's tactics were pretty good, and I was encouraged to see Oriol in particular going forward and offering some width to the attack. I thought he was one of our better players today.

Bayern warmed up for their visit to El Madrigal with a 7-0 thumping of Freiburg, and even without Arjen Robben have to be looking forward to playing against our back four. Zapata and Musacchio have got to start for me--Gonzalo has looked really slow.

Marco Ruben had a great goal and had another shot saved as well--I just wonder if we try to go to a 4-3-3 again at some point so he and Nilmar could both get in there.

De Guzman looked excellent too--he has that desire to go forward and create opportunities, but he battles hard to win the ball back (maybe too hard now and then, since he picked up a yellow today).

Bad news is we lose Diego Lopez for the next league match, but at least he is well rested for Bayern. A bittersweet game, then, but positives to go with the negatives. For both teams.
