I fear that Bayern will be the only German team that qualifies. Luckily Dortmund and Leverkusen have been given two doable ties if they play to their potential.

Have similar opinion, Bayern and Arsenal to the next round, Chelsea and BVB 50/50, and I'm not giving to much chances to Bayer, not to mention Schalke.

You think so B04 v Atletico? I think Atletico can beat any team including us... after all they have Mandzu

Leverkusen have no chance making it past atletico. Their only chance was porto. Shouldve won their last game and they wouldve chance for an easier opponent but they **** up. Own fault.

Dortmund - Juventus will be close and is a game to look forward to.

Schalke will be slaughtered and fed to dogs. However can't really blame them. They had chelsea in their group. Leverkusen on the other end...

I think you guys are underestimating Leverkusen but it's true that it's highly improbable they will play their best.

Time to come back to monitoring coefficient rating for Germany and England in battle for second in Europe.
We finished last year with gap of 2.262 in favor of England. After all games in CL and EL until now the gap increased to 2.548 but situation will improve slightly in the next games as Arsenal and MC (probably) will gracefully exit the stage for this year. Bigger chances of surviving have BVB, Leverkusen and higher yet for Chelsea. Schalke is gone. Of course I think Bayern will win, if not it will be disaster.
In El chances are equal for Wolfsburg and Everton.

Hopefully this is the season, but we will probs need Bayern and Wolfsburg to win the CL and EL....

Not necessarily, Germany is in front already counting in end of the season bonus of 2.691. Germany now have to win and tie the same number of games as England. Plus Germany may have more clubs contributing to the final score. There are of course some additional small bonuses for reaching 1/4, 1/2 and final of both competitions.

Italy seems to be back on track. 5 teams in EL. Roma, Inter, Torino, Napoli, Fiorentina

It's early to see they're back. After all, we're talking about Europa league, not Champions League. That's so ridiculous, after all... Who was the one to pretent so arrogant and unsporting when there wasn't crisis? Italians. Attitude not to play Uefa Cup and rather get knocked out than play that shít.

How about now? Well, they all bite to win every single match how miserable they are, but they didn't spare to criticize Germans and their EL performances between 2007-2010 when Germans clubs fought badly for the 4th spot. Some of Serie A followers and fans told that has to be stopped, but now on the contrary... They really like it, though. I mean, playing EL. :)

Italy is not a problem. The more teams they got still playing the bigger the chance to lose points or make the others win marginally lower. Who should be worried is England who, if things stay on course, will open up the 2015-16 European season on third spot just behind Germany.

I don't see anyone other than Chelsea nabbing a win (@home vs Paris) as both Arsenal and City proved pathetic on their local turn.

On the German front at least things look a bit more positive. A certain elimination of Shalcke at the hands of Kroos and Co can be made up by a still possible qualification of Proudkusen and certain wins by Bayern, Dortmund (Weindefeller I said certain dammit) and Wolfsburg a day or two later.

If you look at your source season 10/11 won't be counted in anymore and this was bad year for Germany (2.691 pts behind England) so the're not at safe distance, they're behind already.
