Any way this year is BL year.

City likely won't qualify and I bet Liverpool won't either.

I have similar feelings (City and Liverpool). I think Leverkusen will qualify but Shalke won't. If pair of Wolfsburg and Gladbach has similar results as English pair of Tottenham and Everton then the gap at the end of this round will be around 1.26 in favor of England but as I said before Germany gets boost of 2.69 points at the end of season.

Very bad day for Germany yesterday, gap to England widened to 1.833 and it may get worse today.

Liverpool will win, Arsenal will win... 4/4

I guess all that whistling, booing and crying worked last night.

If Liverpool, Arsenal and Leverkusen win the gap would widen again to 2.119

That was second nightmare day for Germany and the gap now is 2.976. What is interesting about these statistics is that Arsenal delivered more points for England than Bayern or BVB, also more than Chelsea. There must be something wrong with the system.

overall it was only S04 that lost the direct encounter vs EPL 1-1 away and 0-5 home...
BVB 2-0 home & 0-2 away so neutral and us 1-0 and 2-3 (won the direct encounter on the away goals)
Therefore overall all remained the same ; one win for both leagues and a draw...

Probably we don't understand each other, I'm talking about Uefa country coefficient where also Europa League games count in also. Overall Germany gains on England so far but only 0.285 points, before this round Germany was only 0.55 behind England.

To summarize this round in CL - England 3 wins(6 points) + 1 draw(1 point) +Arsenal qualified to 1/4finals (5 points) = 12 points.
So England gains in coefficient 12/7=1.714 points
Germany 4 losses (0 points) + Leverkusen qualified 5 points.
Germany gains 5/7=0.714 points.
At this round England gained 1.000 points on Germany

Sorry, my calculation was wrong because Leverkusen qualified to the next round thanks to Zenith.
Gap is 2.262

What a slap on the face of BL in 6 games 6 losses 0 points.
England in 6 games 5 wins 1 draw. 13 points
Uefa coefficient input from German clubs for this round NULL, for England 1.857 points.
What an embarrassing display by BL clubs 6 losses from 6 games, 3 on home turf and 3 away. England 5 wins, 1 draw in six games. 3 at home and 3 away.

Yeas, you're right, I forgot to edit my post, not the big relieve for Germany though, after this dismal display of proficiency we're back to year beginning now. That's like 3 sigma event, very strange. Just statistics.
