Ancelotti was managing to recover all players, had no long injuries, it was pure chance to lose Hummels and Lewy. More unlucky yet Vidal lose a penalty dominated by adrenaline. Do not talk nonsense about what has already happened, the work of Ancelotti was perfect

Yeah, I guess he was trying to keep them in form but idk, could've just rested Lewy.

Real is loosing to Gijon right now 2:1.
Let's hope they tire a lot in this one, this is not looking easy for them at all lol, let's hope some of the reserves play from the first team, so they dont rest too much I guess..

No... Perfect means to prepare the team to create something against a team he should know superbly well...
Plus man-management with more than 13-14 players - in case you need them like we did - would be good...

Who comes up with the idea to rest the "unbreakable" Lewandowski?

Apparently, Ancelotti in the home game, as many people report he could've played if Ancelotti had let him... Seeing the kind of game we delivered mith Müller up front a Lewandowski in agony would've been the wayyyyy better choice...

Exactly. Keeping Lewy on was not a mistake. Predicting on hindsight is easy.

What does bother me a lot is the disgusting defensive performance that Boateng put on. He has been playing poorly pretty much since WC 2014. He needs to step up and fast, and I don't like it if it's true that he went out partying just after losing to Real Madrid.

That performance by Isco was one of the greatest that I have ever seen.

Bench player for real madrid would start on 99 percent of the world.

Madrid reject isn't really a negative if you consider all things. Always said Bayern should consider signing Isco and playing him as the n10 with Thiago playing as CM

Hopefully, Pep doesnt manage to get both Isco and Sanchez this summer.
