Having said that a member making a bet against the team is no cause for either a warning from a mod nor an insult from another member. Now if you want to wait to mock him after the bet is lost you can go right ahead too. Behave people.

I didn't loose no bet, I actually won it perfectly nice, but I guess he is eager and can't wait for me to cut my dick off lol...
Just chill and I dont want any smartass around here having to ALWAYS say something negative about the team, ALWAYS. I rlly can't believe he made one positive post in his life, kinda wierd. I wanna check year 2013.. just in case. I bet we "were lucky" then lol.

So before kick off I sparked a debate by replying to a Vidal tweet posted shortly before kick off whereby I felt he should have been focusing on the match rather than social media.

Notwithstanding the possibility that my reply may have pissed him off and factored in his sending off, I got some flak for this from a number of users here but it seems that I wasn't being too strict amidst reports that Mourinho is banning social media usage by players from as much as 48 hours before matches.

Your fault

I think it's like with everything: some might be distracted by it, others not... These people live a life WAY more out in the open than us, so I don't know how it would add to that, but for some it might cost focus... Vidal clearly was over the top in both games, but was it because of that? Doubt it, but don't know...

Using Mourinhos choices as a litmus test for normal behavior doesn't exatly work though lol. This is the same guy who thought it was a good idea to banish Basti for no apparent reason.

More teams should ban social media. It would give players more time to practice pre-orchestrated goal celebrations and elaborate handshakes.

I agree but how do you control something like that?

I guess football has to allow the players their freedom of expression. I just turn away and look elsewhere, but a lot of people love that stuff. Some even love to see pitch invaders stopping the match. There are some strange fans out there.
