How come he wasn't bad in our favor... first reaches his pocket to show a yellow to Cazzomiro then remembers that he already has a yellow and doesn't show anything.

Dude he was... (and already 2013...)
Vidal should've been off long ago, offside goal... let aside the fact that the penalty is maybe even debatable: would've been easy not to grant it... Not to allow our second goal... Gift them another penalty... They had already scored one which he - rightfully - called offside... Would've been SO easy - all of that...
Yet he waited until the 86th minute to create more of an uproar and tension, not just during the game, on the field, but also in the aftermath... Yeah, seems reasonable

I find the sheer speed in which conspiracies are created disturbingly shocking...
He's just an awful awful ****, that's it...

The game should have been over the moment Bayern had the penalty and Casemiro should have have seen a second yellow. So Bayern one up and Madrid playing in 10 for 40 mins. Full stop. And the penalty is not debatable.

Vidal could've been sent showering two minutes into the second half dude
I feel like the devil's advocate here! I don't want to defend him! He is a shit ass sorry excuse for a referee **** - but I can't believe people are so prejudiced... That's nothing to do with being objective...

And Casemiro should have been off by the end of the first, so hypothetically Vidal never would have had to make that challenge.

Vidal got booked for his first tackle in the game, meanwhile Casemeiro was literally getting away with murder. If I recall correctly he should have been sent off twice, at least, in the 90minutes itself he committed a minimum of 3 yellow card fouls, gave away a penalty and then that dive. The incompetent referee was clearly not up for a game of this magnitude and he failed under the Bernabeu's pressure to send off a Real Madrid player.

EDIT: Casemiro set up one of Ronaldo's goals I think. Once again if the referee had done his job properly then Casemiro wouldn't even have been on the field to assist any goals!

Yes! But that's not the point! The point is people claiming it was all a set up and fixed and the outcome was clear beforehand... And that's clearly not the case...

Don't know if it was a fix or not, but it does seem that a lot of decisions tend to go in favor of the two Spanish giants more often than not in the CL. It's not even a coincidence anymore, it's been happening every season since about a decade now. It does make you suspicious.

I never belived these conspiracy theories, even when Chelsea were robbed in 2009 or when Van persie or Nani were harshly sent off. However, these two games, Barca-PSG and Madrid-Bayern have really got be thinking if there is indeed something fishy. There needs to be VAR introduced asap and the referees who have a horrible game should be penalized by suspending them for 2 games, at least. Also there needs to be an independent investigation into UEFA.

This may sound like wishful thinking but if these steps are taken then a lot of corruption will stop and fans will appreciate the games more!

Now I'll try and explain it once more, fir the last time, cause there's people here- like you - that are too close to the edge and actually seem to know this club very little, cause in the same sentence phantasize about Griezmann - whom we don't even need...
There is a difference between putting up a great fight and being the better team... We git a doubtful penalty and no one is complaining about the ref... Another one in Munich we wasted... Also no one complaining... Yes, we were unlucky, and he definitely pushed the game in their favor... But you can only rob someone of something they have... And we had nothing! The game was headed for overtime, not for us qualifying...! Again, the team put up a great effort, but those goals came completely out of nowhere... You simply cannot **** up your home games like that! Just look how many home games Atlético gives away... How many goals?
Again, the ref killed the momentum, I give you that... But it's not like Vidal didn't deserve to be sent off way earlier already... And people here are acting like it was ours to lose... That's easy... It's neglecting the fact that we could've killed the tie earlier though and thus would actually HAVE something to be "robbed of"...

He can be a great winger or ss for lewy would kill any team.
Who do u suggest then?
Lewys offside 1vs1 with the gk? Wouldnt that change anything for u? Casemiro red? Vidal red for no foul? Would those change anything for u? The goal comes foe those who seek for it, and we definitely were seeking it more than them when we had 11 :) none of ur points is valid. See?

We would score with Lewy and Müller on the pitch, either in remaining time or in ET. Lewy was rested, Müller concentrated and we had them on the ropes. It's not that the team can't score, it was the bad lineup.

Of course... In no way I was trying to say Ancelotti was without fault or the team was shit! This is not a contradiction!
Yes!
But over the course of the whole tie we didn't deserve to go through... Easy as that...

The team who was literally outplaying them didnt deserve to go through? Are u living in a paralell universe??????? Or just watched the game from flashscore app?

So did Ronaldo...

Ref was overall bad and maybe favored you a little, but you were the better team over the course of 210 minutes...

As soon as we rediscover our roots, you'll suffer

a little? no words for ur brain man... rlly... OMFG !

Could say the same about you cause offside is offside, no matter the distance...
Can't you just accept, that THERE ARE people with another opinion? I've acknowledged the team spirit... I mentioned, that we put up a good fight and did our best... I still think the better team advanced...
you think differently? Good! Welcome to an adult discussion! But could you please stop to go full mental rage whenever you read and quote one of my posts that's already 16-20 hours old?!

Now we are sure offside is not offside cause lewy didnt even touch the ball lol... im starting to believe u are paid from the owners of the site to **** with us and keep us commenting here more lol.. no other logical explanation...

We didn't outplay them fgs... We basically didn't create any chances. That's not outplaying another team.

The whole referee afair has really done a disservice to our team, cause it has kept people from looking at how bad our defensive and offensive performance in the home leg was and how bad the offensive performance was in the second leg (despite the defensive side improving markedly).

People also keep raving about Robben, and fail to see that when he doesnt have his effectiveness (something he didn't have against Madrid) he basically is just a ball-hoarder who can't pass and every attack dies there. If Robben weren't lethal with his trademarked cut-in move, he would be a TERRIBLE player, and I'm not sure he can remain lethal anymore (even less a full year from now).

Bayern needs to seriously rethink it's attacking setup and general tactics and I feel the board has considerably underestimated the problem at hand FOR FAR TOO LONG.

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times.

The refereeing in the second leg DOES NOT MATTER if we take care of our business in the first leg.

PunkCapitalist is right. Everyone can't see the forest for the trees. Our xG was practically nonexistent and our biggest scoring chances were a penalty and an own goal. If Carlo had managed his tactics, lineups, and substitutions better in the weeks leading up to Madrid, we'd in all likelihood have Lewandowski first leg vs Madrid (and hopefully full health for second leg as well) and he puts away half the chances Müller gets at worst. Better management prior to the first leg and we go into leg 2 leading 3, 4 goals to 1 or 2.

We're approaching a major transition period, I'm afraid.
