Was he the lamb of sacrifice? Or maybe he wanted to eliminate out of hate for what fcb represents; Germany...?
Or maybe he is just an idiot who is not fit for purpose...

In order to redeem itself uefa should give to bayern the same amount of money as if we were eliminated in the semi finals.

I think he's just bad
Wasn't that good in our Barca game either...

Well, rare that you see UEFA take those kind of actions...

How come he wasn't bad in our favor... first reaches his pocket to show a yellow to Cazzomiro then remembers that he already has a yellow and doesn't show anything.

Dude he was... (and already 2013...)
Vidal should've been off long ago, offside goal... let aside the fact that the penalty is maybe even debatable: would've been easy not to grant it... Not to allow our second goal... Gift them another penalty... They had already scored one which he - rightfully - called offside... Would've been SO easy - all of that...
Yet he waited until the 86th minute to create more of an uproar and tension, not just during the game, on the field, but also in the aftermath... Yeah, seems reasonable

I find the sheer speed in which conspiracies are created disturbingly shocking...
He's just an awful awful ****, that's it...

Wrong. What did he do wrong in 2013?

What I remember is him giving a questionable penalty (as questionable as the one in the first leg, at any rate) to none other than Real Madrid in 2012.

A little too late...

1-0 Müller - Dante was pretty rough in that aerial duel

2-0 Gomez offside

3-0 Robben: In NO way was that a legal no-ball-in-sight-tackle by Müller

I know! I just cannot reproduce/track down how one cannot see that there were (bad) decisions in favor of Bayern as well... Overall leading to the stylization of sone kind of Bayern martyrdom, completely neglecting the fact that we again(!!!) failed to do the necessary spadework to enter the second leg with at least a decent shot at advancing...

as frustrating as the refereeing was, I also have a hard time imagining that the referees were anything more than incompetent and unprepared for a match on this stage.

I go back and forth on the Bayern performance question. On the one hand, the score was tied over two legs when it was 11v11... on the other hand, BAyern could really only muster a penalty and own goal in the 2nd leg. I do think that Bayern would have gone through without the red cards, but I also thought Madrid created a lot more opportunities.

Exactly... Let's not talk about the 2013 run in itself, because that shit is coming out of everyone's ears... But there are moments that just stick with you... There's a talkshow called the "Doppelpass" every Sunday morning... It's basically not on a high level, but nonetheless... After the first leg against Juve there was a journalist stating "these Bayern, they are always insanely dangerous, in every moment of the game" - we don't have that now...
In the Sky broadcast the next day, there was one who said "it's just amazing, you could feel it in every second THEY DID NOT WANT TO CONCEDE! It was not an option for them!" - neither do we have this now...!
Had we gone through, it'd have been more luck than quality of the actual performance...
Yes, Manu and our CBs were amazing... But not in Munich (well, Manu was...)!
Also, they were the cleverer team (Vidal did not make use of the refs mistake, Ronaldo did...)

Right on. (I'm going to ignore the 1st leg) CBs and Neuer were amazing, but midfield was really disjointed and had a hugely difficult time converting into the final 3rd. I put a bit of blame on Ancelotti for this - I don't think Alonso should have played this match - instead, Müller should have been behind Lewa and Thiago-Vidal should have been midfield partnership. A few players on our side were underwhelming and ineffective as well. All-in-all, Bayern was not best suited to acheive victory.

That all being said, I think Bayern still could have squeaked through via sheer willpower IF Vidal wasn't sent off.

Yep - which is actually what I liked most and which gives me hope - cause that physical, mental part of our game was nowhere to be seen in Guardiola's tenure...

Juve at home?
Atletico at home?
Barca at home?

Come on, you can't deny we had fight and determination in those games even though we failed in two of them.
