I think he'll start Muller instead of Mandzukic.

That shouldn't even be an option for him anymore. How many times does it have to not work before it stops being a regular option? :? Müller does best from the midfield, not as a striker. Someone needs to knock Pep over the head if he chooses to do that. I would prefer to have even Pizza in there instead of going for a false 9 if Mandzukic is suspended for the second leg (which I almost wish would happen just so we can get that fear out of the way).

Personally would like to see:
Neuer - Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba - Schweinsteiger, Kroos - Robben, Müller, Ribéry - Mandzukic

or if Guardiola gets the idea to put Martinez back in midfield:

Neuer - Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba - Martinez, Schweinsteiger - Robben, Kroos/Müller, Ribéry - Mandzukic

I would say in that later case maybe sub Müller on for Robben or Kroos at 65-70 minutes depending on performance.

I hate Müller playing striker. I think the only reasonable way to start him is as a CAM, which basically requires Lahm to play RB... which would be ideal

I'd love to see Lahm overlapping Robben every time as he did last season, but if Lahm is going to play RB against Madrid I think he should get some more playing time there before Bernabeu. He hasn't played near his best this season when he was played as RB.
I TRUST IN ARJEN ROBBEN

I am not a big fan of Muller as striker either but I can see it working against Madrid.

I just expect Mandžukić in the first match so he can collect that important yellow card and eventually miss 2nd leg so Mandžo might play in the final.

It would be a miracle not to recieve yellow card in two matches between Pepe and Ramos.

We only care about Ramos and Pepe receiving a yellow card in the first leg though...

Ramos pretty much starts with a yellow from the dressing room, so no need to worry about that. Pepe has been quite disciplined lately, which I honestly still find hard to believe. :D

Ancelotti on Copa del Rey final: 'Ronaldo is progressing everyday. I am not ruling him out but if there is a risk we will not play him. You will always miss Ronaldo when he is not there but it is not as if the players are saying: "Oh, my god what will we do without him." They are confident they can win without him and they have already proved that they can.' [source]

If he's not ruled out for Wednesday, then he almost definitely will at least make the matchday squad against Bayern in the first leg.

In fact, Cristiano Ronaldo is working out for five hours a day in order to be fit to play against Bayern. He's convinced he will make it. [source]

With our defence having been shaky all season I honestly have nightmares about the possibility of this series becoming something of a milder version of 7Up. Real's defence should be breakable with out offensive power, but with our high defensive line and Dante's and Boateng's proneness to bad mistakes we could be punished very easily even if the game was seemingly in our control. I think Martinez should definitely play in the midfield in the first leg at least and softer players like Götze should stay far away from the field.

At the moment, with our attitude(example game vs BVB), our shaky defence and some of Pep's unsucessful ideas, I don't see us winning this game.

You cant really think the players will have the same attitude in a BuLi game as compared to a Champions League semi final :?

The concerns are reasonable though. We have to finish our chances better and defend theirs better.

I trust Pep to come up with a solution.
