I did. But there's really no point in scouting them you know. I watched them last week playing against Real Sociedad. They won 4-0 away. Then they came to Dortmund and lost 0-2...

They play very well in the league but that's because their defence which consists of 7 players is enough to stop most of LaLiga teams. When they will face Bayern the whole team will need to defend with heart and I dont see that happening to be honest. I dont see Ronaldo and Bale tracking back and doubling the wings and all of that for straight 90 minutes. No way.

True they just beaten Almeria 4-0. Let's see if they can beat a demoralized Barca in CDR Final.

Yeah, but then they need to be careful in order to keep a clean sheet in Munich during the first 10 seconds of the game 8) :dante:

I get Xabi's point though. We were getting really badly mauled before the penalty goal in the 2012 fixture. RM can come racing out the gates really hard at home. A very boring 0-0 in the first half would be fine by me. :P

We don't play fast counters last days, yet we lost that thing after Heynckes in exchange for big possession and slow tempo.

We played at a very slow tempo against United because they parked the bus and there was almost no space in the box to do anything. Real Madrid won't play like that and we will be able to do some nice combinations.

But I hope we take shots more often. It's really frustrating when our players find themselves with a great chance to shoot inside the box but they try to make another extra pass instead which leads to kill the clear goal chances

Yep, that's my point :P

Real Madrid players are ultra motivated with winning "La Decima". It's been a long time ago since their last CL trophy and this is their 4th consecutive CL semifinal after all. So I'm expecting them to be really aggresive for the first 15 minutes of the game. Their supporters will surely make some noise for them in that period.

But after those 15 minutes we will be able to play our game and dominate them. Or at least that's what I'm expecting

I think there are no players suspended for this game... but which players are 1 yellow away from suspension in both teams?

MUTU posted this in the Bayern vs CL draws thread.

Bayern:
- Mandzukic

Real Madrid:
- Ramos
- Xabi Alonso
- Illarramendi

Pretty sure the score would be 0-0 after 15 mins. So do not worry.

We'll probably start with keeping the ball and frustrate them. Our goals will come and I think one in each half.

I can see into the future. :P

I wouldnt be too worried about Real Madrid players being highly motivated... They're talking about winning the Champions League every year and how strongly motivated they are and then they get their asses kicked in the semifinal and their motivation is at question.

As MUTU pointed out in the chat during the draw, at this point us and Chelsea are advantaged because we have much more experience in this competition. Apart from Ronaldo and Casillas I don't think any of Real Madrid's current players have ever made it past the semi-finals.
